MA you screwed the pooch on Beacons!

Dissapointed in your lack response on the real issue!

Apples and oranges, you can't really compare mobs in beacons to ones on the outside. They may share looks and names but that's where the similarities end.

Take the Akbal-Omni Sector 3 Droka for example which has 40HP and 10 HP-Regen compared to a Droka Generation 01 that has 480HP 2.3 HP-Regen.

It bothers me Kim, after hearing that during the beacon give away at twin peaks this week MA staff is advising that people hold on to their free beacons until the mini patch next week.

I, as well as many others went to the trouble of explaining our feelings and experience with the new beacons and you didn't take the time to update us here or anywhere in this forum with this upcoming mini patch. IMO, you ned to work on your customer relations and satisfaction skills.

A simple, yes we know there is a possible loot imbalance, we have a mini patch due out next week to address some issues, we are looking at the current beacon structure to see what we can do to improve the team work, challanges, and experience that is lacking, etc, etc, etc,

And not just a reply that says my comparison is apples and oranges and not even touch base on the experience itself.

Why not take a Poll.. Ask simple things like should we remove the revive, increase the delay time to revivie, do nothing, etc... Should we increase the numer of loot boxes, make their locations random, etc, etc, etc.

If you want to make beacons successful I suggest you listen to what the people want and adjust accordingly and you might just find that this method is in the best interest of both players and MA.

Cheers.

Remove Shared Loot....

why?

if they remove shared loot then add in a designated loot receiver who can then divy up the loot at the end.

So... where does it say that on the client loader?
(You know, for all those folks who don't read forums...)

If Kim and MA actually gave a shit, they'd disable beacons until they worked properly. :wise:

LOL good luck with that one :) Whether policy or not, it has been MA's practice over many many years NOT to inform the general public about their bugs that cost their customers $.

Look at C. Gloom for example...he is so effectively conditioned that for him it is perfectly acceptable/normal for MA to but forth a shitty/flawed product, and its your fault for expecting otherwise. Just an FYI Gloom, no it did not take MA a long time to balance the beacon system, sure there were "mechanical" bugs but anyone that has been doing beacons since the days they came out can tell you that making back your decay and ammo (or close enough to it) was the norm, not an extreme rarity.

Still....sad, pathetic, and immoral is the company that does not inform their customers that they have discovered a flaw in their product that is unfairly causing their customers financial harm. Litigious is the company that does not recall/disable said product knowing the harmful defect continues. But then again, they answer to no one in these regards and are liable for nothing as per their ToS.

If an employee feels _____'d by the opinions of the company's customers, then probably not best suited to represent a company that is distrusted by a large majority of their customer base. Such actions only continue to dissolve trust.

VU xx.x " We are bringing back the beacon system. The system is revamped and virtually untested so we are giving out hundreds of free beacons for you to test things out with. Do so at your own risk as we have stated the system is not yet completed. We will use your feedback and information from the testing to produce a final and stable product in the coming weeks."
