According to the fact Mindark gives more and more importance to Public Auction ( that is, actually, one of the best market place to selll regular items and some high end items, the community feel like some major change will come in the couple's VU

Yet, we would like to know MindArk's opinion about traders that bids on some auctionned-item, a few hours/minutes before the system gets down for some maitenance or Update iissues ( that uses to take some hours), allowing them to win some easy and cheap trade without competitiveness.
Do you think that could be technically possible for Mindark to stop the auction clock while a maitnenance or a VU is being applied?

The downtimes are usually announced beforehand. Right now the auction clock is linked to the real clock. Basically we have no problems with people timing auctions and who are speculating.

However, we have been talking about setting a timer that is linked to server uptime, but it is just talks at the moment.

Good day marco ,
we would like to highlight today some questions about the ingame skill tree.
as Mindark stated, the skill tree has an influence on players main profession, and mainly determines our chance of success in such activity as hunting, mining, crafting, etc....
yet, Mindark setted a sail of mystery about the skill board, and usually PE participants have to determine by their own the level they have to hit in order to unlock some hidden skills ( i.e, marksmanship, Rda ).
-First, we would like to know some of the reasons that brings Mindark to remain secret about the skill board - Do Mindark wish and encourage people to look for any logic in the skill system, by their own?
-then, we would like to know if Mindark has setted hidden skills that predisposes participants to any particular activity ( I mean here, like any randomly 'favourite' skill that would hit the avatar once he gets created, alllowing him better chances of profit/success in it?) ?
-as conclusion, we know our main professional standing evolves according to our skill level in such activities as crafting, fapping, decoying, scanning, hunting...etc.
Could it be envisaged MindArk releases more informations about the skill tree, or even point any important link between the main skills and its effect on each others? of course we encourage you to answer only as far as you can go towards the confidentiality of the system

1) Yes, MA likes the community to collaborate to find out things in PE, as we believe giving out all information is taking away the fun and experience of partaking.

Not much new info there, but it's good to see MindArk confirm things, or at least put the finger down so we don't have to nag them anymore :)
