Material Designer Skilling?

What is the fastest way to skill Material Designer, it seems to be ungodly expensive to level this profession through applying textures and bleaching and reapplying.

Am I missing something, I am only trying to hit level three but looking at the costs its going to be in the multiple 100s of ped to get there through the 'obvious' route.

Also are there UL texturing tools?

Craft textures, can be cheap with stuff like generic leather textures.

No UL texturizers.

FYI: You don't need to bleach. You can color the blueprint books sold in TT as far as I know. That'll cut cost a bit.

According to entropiawiki Make textiles is the second most beneficial skill for that profession. http://www.entropiawiki.com/Info.aspx?chart=Activity&id=82

NI has a crafting daily for that which gives 0.35p of that skill (https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/...s-for-vu-17-2-2020-06-02.272386/#post-3698208 last post) that daily requires you to craft 50 lesser Elysia. a tailoring bp that also gives make textile when crafting.

So come to NI and stay a while

P.S. NI also has people with blueprint loan services that have a lesser Elyssia bp with some QR already

There actually are UL texturizers, but they sell for, as you say, "multiple 100s of ped," and are hard to come by.

Thanks for the tip, I've been to NI before and wasn't a huge fan but I was a much lower level back then so may recheck it out.

NI got some love from the owner (and there should be another update this month) and it now also has a great community. Small, but very friendly and social.
There are things to do from finding 50 magical flowers for an L pants blueprint, to missions for L vehicle bps, SSI, from 10hp mobs to the almighty Zeus. It's all there.
