Having back the "mentoring" no doubt it would be important to ensure retention of newcomers.
Maybe it would be interesting mentoring system includes a series of missions that must be completed by the mentor and the student in a team. These missions could be progressively more demanding not only in regard to mobs but also in the "TPrun" to perform. Olso could add a new team system in which the distribution of loot is the same for both members of the team. The award for the mentor would be proportional to the missions fulfilled. Nobody wants a mentoring system as the one we had before the VU 10.0 in which some mentors often forgot their students knowing that they would collect the prize anyway.

A Mentoring system which includes missions to be completed by both Mentor and Disciple together sounds like a great idea. It would foster a better bond and ensure the Disciple learns alot about the game. Rather than mindlessly skilling 2000 points to graduate, meeting certain objectives would be better.

Good idea

Agreed, would also stop the diciple farming that some mentors did. Accepting dozens of diciples (sometimes with a fake account) and then only log in to release when they are done, and accept the Mentor gifts...

Marco did have a thread for 1-2 weeks a year back or so where he collected ideas for the mentoring system, did he not? To send to MA...
