Hello.

My ign name is Jonas Brukits Holgersson, ive played some prior to "SGA", im now back and hunting to the best efforts i can.
Longtime goal is to reach Killstrike. Main goal for the log is simply to keep track and shed some light for others if they wanna see costs to do that:)

i will try to update the log after every hunt to begin with. But i may change my mind and do every few hunts:)


This is my stats and equipment at the start of the log.

I will only include TT returns and note looted items in the log, once every 10 hunts ill summarise and add markup to calculate totals.

Since the point of the whole thing is to mark your progress towards kill strike you should probably note your profession level at the start and end of each period as well.

Feel free to comment on things i might be doing wrong, or would be intresting to know: )

Laser Sniper Hit = Level 39,2056
Ranged Laser Damage = Level 34,5582

Conlusion:
TT Return seems a little low, could bump it up another %.
A better DPP weapon would hopefully help me decrease the amount of % shrapnell i get.
Need to focus on raising skills as cheap as possible to acces better weapons. A 2.0 loot weapon and more looter skills will let me skill practicly free.

Well, i dont have precise info. But my calculations are made with atleast 2-5% less then weekly markup. So it should actually be slightly better then what im showing.
Also all items with low markup and very few sales i calculate at 0 markup.
At this point i have about 2,16% markup if shrapnell is 0 markup :)
Hope the answer is somewhat satisfying
 
yes it is ! , I was curious about those number, I see you do some trooper ,had not really good result in term of markup, I wish you the best on those Cans :cool:

Realised this post will be kind of cluttered if i write every hunt, so will do every 5 hunts or when i change a mob.
I went to Cyrene to finish the first 2 missions of Mang Chang and these were the results.

Offensive costs = 4638,78 PED
Defensive 168,39 PED

TT Return 70,6 % (ouch)
TT return = -1413 PED

Now trying some Marcimex to increase my levels a little faster:)
Currently on hunt 2 of Marcimex so should be another update soon
 
5 runs completed on small Marcimex to increase skillspeed to the point i can goal before halloween Mayhem

Offensive Cost = 4991,47 PED
Defensive Cost = 117,74 PED

TT Return = 84,27 %
TT Return = -803,84 PED
 
To do a recap from the beginning on the project.
TT Return seems a bit low. Levels however are coming on as expected. Just need to continue the grind and gain some more levels:)

Offensive = 24640,78 PED (Rifle, Ammo, Amp, sight, scope)
Defensive = 1050,05 PED (Armor, Adj resto, fap)

TT return = 22026,33 PED
TT return% = 85,736 %
Total markup = 1,52 % (Shrapnel at 0%)

Laser sniper hit = 42,45 (38 at start)
Laser Damage = 37,16 (33 at start)
HP = 132 (126 at start)

Hit gain = 4,45
Damage gain = 4,16
HP gain = 6

Nope, no idea who that could be.
I have only turned roughly 25k so not that big killcount so far:)

What about adding rings to your setup and get extra % critical & reload speed ?
You would improve your loot quality and get a bit less shrapnel.

Your defensive cost seems high for me, you're over 4.2% actually.

And last but not least, why do you add scope and laser ? It only add more decay and don't help to improve your loot composition. If you don't need the zoom of scope to hunt, then it only improve your cost.

Noob to killstrike, so probably for the skill bonus.

As stated above my primary focus is to raise my efficiency and skill increase:) I also have a a limited ring ring wich give me some crit and reload speed, but neglectable on my weapon.
My focus at the moment is to raise levels to access a loot 2.0 Rifle, wich would improve my efficiency and dpp alot. And at my low level, buying the higher end rings would cost me as much as a really good skilling weapon, without giving me nowhere near as much impact.

Although my defence cost is high, its nothing im that worried about now in loot 2.0 when alot more of the decay is returned in loot. Sure, the 4% cost is not optimal, but i need to get the skills sooner rather then later.

In short, yes. It is however quite complex and a lot of factors to consider, but increasing efficiency at pretty minimal dpp decrease is generally worth it. Also faster skilling to faster access better tools etc.
