Petition to remove Explosive BPs (or change them) - Part 2

Just make rockets accept uni already.
 
Whay do you Think i stop to depo and MA has lost about 14k $ the last 14 months because this game is not a MMO game anymore......and if i am not on the list put me there....:cool:

Is there anyway to hoard the Blueprints and then sell the Blueprints at a Ridiculous MU? Maybe if enough people started forcing the price up, that would help a little.

Now Seriously...If all of us just bought up every darn Blueprint in existence and hoarded it. Never selling except at a Ridiculous MU, then it would force the costs up, thus putting pressure on the gamblers, MA and whoever else is involved...

I think MA has an unlimited amount of those blueprints in storage.

Just get rid of hunting, mining, and crafting that requires resources obtained by hunting & mining...and simply turn Entropia Universe into a VLT (video lottery terminal). That's all EP crafting really is. Insert coinage and press a button for hours, hoping for a jackpot.

They removed the coins from loot, about some laws in countries. But why the heck they change EU to be a real casino?

Crafting Explo is the same as insert coin to a slot machine and hope it give a winn. This is of course a real casino, and have noting to do with a game. The site affect, it kill the whole economy. How long MA is blind about this fact, and allow EU to be a real casino? Or how long the couverments all around let EU run like a casino?

Nope. I've never seen any real world slot machine that accounts for your 'skills' any any way shape or form. It could be argued that you can use a card counting skill in some table games, but you didn't compare it to a table game, just to a slot machine... that comparison doesn't work since the game has an experience system, qr ratings on blueprints, etc., all of which are things that keep it from being gambling 100%.

LOL.... it is a casino. noting more.. also if you need some low skills for hit the explo crafting button. Most ppl also are agree, that this kills the economy.

I don't see a different between, buy a item from trade terminal (buy ingame coins) and then fill into the machine (craft machine/slot machine) and hit the button and await a win or lost. Only the grafic looks different, but basicaly it is the same as a slot machine. I can buy a BP with 0 skills and hit the casino button at the slot.. ehm sory craft machine.

and then... eventually you'll get skills and higher qr rating, which will affect the chance your crafting attempt will succeed or not... which is kind of the opposite of buying a lottery ticket or hitting the one armed bandit irl.

Want to hear the funny part about mastermesh comment? That come not from MA, but from SGA itself. Go ahead and ask them and you will get this from THEM! Question has to be asked: can the SGA be paid off to look the other way? :eyecrazy:

And at least it is the same, just it give some more % of chance to win.

Buy coins/or a item, then insert to the machine and hit the button.. also slot machines give bonus/skills. BUT BASICALLY it is a casino system.
 
First, agreement does not make truth. Second, chance is at the foundation of everything that comprises the reality around us (it doesn't take learning hard math to grok this basic discovery that is at the core of quantum mechanics). The behaviour of a single elementary particle is unpredictable, only their statistical distribution follows the laws we experience as reliable and calculable. Our game is but a crude simulation of this principle. How often do you hear "sample size" in an argument around here? If you click EP long enough, you'll get with 100% certainty the outcome which is desired by the designer, namely that they have now x% of your money. You merely paid for your entertainment by watching it vanish. That's why I prefer at least to hunt or do whatever is capable of inspiring some fantasy... If you only click because you hope to win, you gamble. If you connect something else with it, you play and entertain yourself. I think the SGA understands that, after all they hired all the eggheads while you are sitting here.

I find this thread extremely therapeutic. Since I started reading the forums I no longer have the urge to log into the game.
I use to do okay crafting component parts for others so they could click off a high end weapons bp or other item and actually managed to break even most of the time or get a "MA forbid" bonus HOF which kept me in business selling the res at a profit. This allowed me many hours of enjoyment chatting with friends I met here but alas someone told MA we were having too much fun at their expense so they dropped the hammer on us (Explosive BPs).
I did try the EP4 for about 10 mins but then had to smack myself silly and immediately sold it. Gave my EP3 to someone else to use but now I feel really bad about doing that to this individual and will not log back into game afraid I might be !@#$%slapped to the other end of the Universe.
So I just want to thank MA for taking away my little business and sending me back to RL. I actually vacuumed the carpet and washed the dishes.
SO ABSOLUTELY ADD ME TO THE LIST NOW.... I ran out of dishes and want my business and customers back.
