Go to Gallery (see menu above, right under the banner), go to "Upload" and follow the steps (select the file, give it a name & description, select category etc). Once it's updated, you can use the link to the file, or the link to the thumbnail to copy & paste in your posts.

Just remember that soon and for a short tiem it wil not be possable to upload pictures due to EF moving to a new, better server.
SO if the link and the option to upload piccies is not available for some reason.. that is why.
In that case wait a week or so and check back for MB's post saying the move is complete and everything is go.
