In case anyone missed it, with today's update MA has changed/boosted Hit ability and critical hit chance on old school unlimited weapons. It is no longer strictly tied to the prof lvl as before..

My stats:

Lvl 50.07 laser pistol hit, lvl 49.53 ranged laser damg

I am now getting 7.0/10 Hit ability and 7.1 critical hit chance

This seems like a major boost by MA, but I think we also need to retest the Hit rate/ critical rates as well before i get too excited lol

And they mentioned only few in the client update news (not that imporant tbh) :laugh:.

Hitrates 4.6/10 with lv 9. & 5.3/10 with lv21 & 7.0/10 with lv 50

Seems old school guns got quite a boost

7,7/8,2 before
8,6/8,8 now
 
That's very nice, eco on my adjusted hero +a105 went from 2.652 to 2.714.
7.3 HA on level 54 laser sniper hit.

82.12 hit on tagger now gives
8.9 HA, 9.1 CH

it seem the lower the level, the better the boost. Is it same for your i2870 and 2875 (or was it 2930) ?

LVL 72.9 on blp sniper gives me
8.4 HA, 8.5 CH

meanwhile i can confirm, that a change of weapon in the same profession does not affect HA. So can we find e formula for the new HA ? Obviously it's not a linear progression, otherwise das would be maxed by now. Ah my own for Laser HG is 7.2 now Prof standing 52.5
 
My laser sniper is 50 and my hit is now 70 with 71 for crit.
 
I'm Level 85 BLP Sniper (Hit)
HA is now 9.1
CHA is now 9.2

For my ML-35 and Adj V1 are now very kick arse! :yay: Thank you MA
 
More Interesting is the boost on Low-Levels :)

Have 5.4 Hit on Katsuichi Honor now with only 22,86 level Hit :wtg:
 
My guess is this formula HA=40+60%xProff level.
 
I was previously 4.7 HA on pretty much all my guns (MK4 carbine, M2875 pistol, Marber Bravo plasma). Missing WAY too much, doing low damage WAY too much for a mid-level experienced hunter, ever since (L) weapons were implemented.

Now I'm at 6.9 laser carbine, 6.7 laser pistol and 6.4 plasma rifle. It seems a lot more fair and logical now. I don't feel like UL weapons were "boosted", I feel like I'm finally getting hunting stats that I deserve, that I USED to have pre-(L) guns.

I also think it's more logical that we have different HA for different weapon types, not just the same HA for all, based on our pro standing.
 
Yep, nothing is told on release notes... this can just be another bug! (well i hope not ofc)

Actually, if you go back to their 2012 roadmap, they state the following tweaks for "Veteran Appreciation"; the points highlighted below seem pretty relevant:

•Increasing UL item tiering speed / lowering UL item tiering cost
•Removing the UL armor equipping fee

isn't the 'reduced chance to miss' could be somewhat included in those new figures?

(50x60%+40) / 10=7.0 HA
