refining leather etc

I hope that I am on the right forum (could have put this on the noobs corner
I guess)
Could someone tell me how/if you can refine hides into leather etc - I thought that you could use a refining machine but a user told me yesterday that you now have to buy a refiner?
Could somebody please put me straight - if a refining machine still exists where can I find one please.

for refining hides and wools and buttons u need a refiner from tt.Is at tools section. Goot Tailoring Material Refiner. 15 peds tt value.
