Greetings! Some of you may have seen some of my other posts, I'm new to playing but after a year of research before starting decided to dive into the game last month. I will be pursuing a hunting path with the end goal of being able to maintain in game without depo'ing. I do not have a desire to withdraw from the game, though if I get to that stage, why not! I am currently level 6 and purposely keeping my level low so I can continue to run gauntlet dailies for tokens while I can. Once I hit level 10 (rifle), I'll be grinding much harder.

In my effort to level up, I've acquired a Hero Twen which should somewhat efficiently carry me through some of the lower level codexs once I am capable of using it. Now I'm currently in the stat-hell of sorting through all the rings and would love to get some input on some of these combos I put together. Given that I'm leveling, I felt skill gain was great (which made me a fan of the Halloween 2023 ring---though I also have a lot of skillboosts from the box opening I've done). I like the concept of lifesteal but will be acquiring a resto chip in the near future. Beyond that it very clearly seems that reload speed and maybe crit are most important. I'm admittedly having a hard time wrapping my head around what is most ideal vs what is ped-appropriate (not buying the 32k Christmas ring), also vs what is available (haven't found an abundance of rings of the market). Looking to get input from more experienced players.

Rings are good, but better if you save the ped you would spend on the fancy rings and buy a better gun.
Gun is the most important and biggest impact thing in your gear, rings almost nothing compared to weapon.

Just buy a cheap reload + a cheap useful pair for it.
 
I'd say dont run Gauntlet for tokens sounds to me not so cost effective.

Argonaut cave and daily crystal mission and any higher lvl mob ones increase cost per token to crazy amounts.

Check out daily terminal for bonus missions those will give you 20 token for 10 mob kills.

If you grind codexes or go after MU mobs once u hit that stage check the terminal for the dailys that lineup with the mobs you are hunting.

Stacking never hurt no one. 🙂

More bang for the PED spent.

Hero twen is perfect to get you through the lower lvl mob codexes. With some adjusted nemisis you should have no problems skilling on lower lvl troopers fairly quickly and with a small asortment of plates, Nem adjusted and the long range of hero Twen you should be fairly safe doing most lower lvl mob codexes.

In regards to rings I would ditch the idea of life steal until you move higher up in dps, focus should be attack speed, crit rate and crit dmg, however depending on how quickly you wanna skill, I would probably focus skill gain above crit rate/dmg. Being new you got a heap of codexes you can breeze through with Hero twen.

Oh and remember to add scope and sights and a A105 improved should fit perfectly aswell. Best of luck

It's hard to get tokens pre level 10. The low level daily missions are still pretty tough outside of the bonus missions and the low level Monria mobs are also not easily accomplished.

Gauntlet is great way to get a couple tokens each day (on top of the bonuses, argo cave, sometimes the low level missions and heading to Monria). It also encourages teamplay.

Daily Tokens are great. Stack em up! Just wish the stats on the weapons were better and there were more options in the terminal (Armor, FAPs, Knives, Swords, etc, etc).

Hero seemed like the best investment for level below 30 and greater efficiency. I've been up and down this chart a dozen times. There were several sb-10's but all wanted +30k-35k with amp, and the amount of things huntable with that is much lower cause melee and no defensive skills, this was a consideration but wasn't able to close any deals. The justifiers are extremely pricey (not unjustifiably so, sorry pun :ROFLMAO:), next option is the LP-40 Perf (which I think is actually level ~40-50 maxed?), and they're selling, or rather not selling, for double what I bought the hero twen for.

Thanks! Lucky enough to get a few daily bonus's already, picked up some CDF guns, but still pretty far below being able to do the argo cave. Starter armor & guns @ my level is weak vs 300hp argos in a tight room/no kiting. Gauntlet feels better for now. Most of the runs are 4-5 ped with 80% returns, feels like a much lower investment for the tokens you get. A daily hunting mission 2 (someone has to math this for me), is certainly going to cost more than 4-5 ped to kill 100 mobs of something at that level. *of course does not apply for outliers and the bonus*

Hero is ok for start, but anything other than an ares ring or "areslike" seasonal ring for around 2-3k is wasting ped.
You wrote many combos that are in the 20-30k range, or even more.
If you can afford 20-30k more spending, just wait for skills to be ready, and buy a bigger gun.
20k gun + 30k ring combo is nothing compared to a 48.5k gun + 1.5k ares perf ring.

And than again 50k gun + 30k rings are nothing compared to what you can do with a 80k gun.

Meta codex farming (see our ladder thread) there are 300 meta points on monster unbder 50 pec per kill, codex them all to Rank 25 you will bulk your stats
a skill ring is not worth, if you feel to push, buy a few ped Juice to get boost
stat tips above are correct
you want to have
1. max reload (15%)
2. max critical rate (5% cap)
3. critical damage boost / life steal (leech)

forget movement speed you can have it from at least 5 other sources)
horn of z'agol can supply 3% reaload and with viceroy (1% critical) reduce ring needs to 12 reload and 4 critical... that with a bp20 is a dream setup

nemesis has robot defense, you will anyway focus on animals . most important defense are imp/acid /cut / stab ... consider target before choosign armors

I wouldn't reccomend either anything that can't be sold or traded.

Nemesis might have robot stats, but it is also good low to mid animal armour, especialy with right plates. 👍

Edit: not to mention prices for set are low atm. 🙂
 
spend the money for one of the two christmas summer top combos

i used both and can tell you they are worth it, every single pec

just take a minute and think about how many times you will heal in entropia without it.

Armors to choose are vigi adjustsd,Nemesis adjusted

or my favourite panelon spec, on high tier you reach 77 impact with basic 5 b plates, nowdays its a prty cheap armor for what it is

Nothing with eff over 60 afaik. But Kinetic 9 chip with mayhem delta amp is a nice setup

Yes forgot about that one, you can also add mayhem amp on top of normal amp to get up to 8% life steal and dodge/evade increase aswell.
The only bad thing is it doesn't use ammo so you will have to repair it quite often

Do you have a link to that meta codex farming thread ladder please? My codex list is a mess of half finished mobs and need some direction haha
 
for giga budget Ares Ring, Mayhem is criminally underrated even if it's a pain to unequip/reequip it every <119 seconds to dodge the cellular degradation debuff


Since rings don't decay anymore it went from being a gimmick to actually usable
