I still think it's a shame about the event not working out. I hunted/mined these LAs specifically because of this event. I don't think I'd visited any of them more than once or twice before.

Thanks for answering my question about the drawing. I'd also like to know about the monthly events for which we were earning tickets. I assume they are cancelled, as well, but I'd like to plan for them if they are still going to be held.

Snake Eyes is to be declared the winner for the mining event for last period, and Dataspice is to be declared the winner for last periods hunting event :)

About the monthly events - I will try to find time to hold these events, and everyone who has earned more than 5 event globals on a LA will get ticket for the event on that area :)

DataSpice and SnakeEyes please PM me some different times over the next weeks time where you can be reached ingame to collect your price :)

Does anybody have an update about this? I followed the instructions in Waheed's reply to my PM, but haven't heard anything since a week ago. His profile shows "Last Activity: 09-10-2008 11:44", which is when he replied to my PM.

Were the mining prizes awarded?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Nothing done yet, I believe he is very active IRL and not much online ...
 
Not heard anything myself yet. He must be very busy as I haven't seen him online whilst i've been in game. He'll turn up again at some point :)

I'm on holiday for 8 days tomorrow onwards so will have to get my prize when i'm back.
 
Some news:

sbi has taken care of my prize, and is working on the details for the mining prizes and the ticketed events. A BIG +Rep to sbi for handling this while Waheed is MIA.

I can't express how much I admire him for stepping in to take care of things.
