Slight issue with Price Updates this month

TimUnleashed has been galavanting around Europe recently and I've been very busy in RL work so things are a bit later than usual. SFE Shop Thread forced to take on a new form.......

Hi Everyone,

So it seems that there is a default 4 year limit on editing posts with the version of vBulletin® that is used to run the forums here at PCF and sadly, even the mighty powers of 711 cannot change this

Thus, I can no longer update the price list we had here in this thread.

What this means to you, our customers, is that now the only place that our full price lists are available, is at our website. The added bonus is that we also have the location list for all the armours as well as a full details catalogue available at the website as well. Overall its a much easier 1 stop location for all your SFE information needs.

However, for those people that spend most of their time here at PCF, I will be creating a new thread soon that will still provide you with notification of all things SFE related.

As for the Monthly Price Guide we established a few month back, for those of you that either haven't subscribed to, or don't want to subscribe to it, I will probably be posting it as part of the monthly BUMP from now on. If you do wish to subscribe then please see the front page of the website for details.

So stay tuned for the new thread when I post it and I look forward to seeing more subscriptions to our monthly newsletter.

Hi Everyone,

You may remember from last month, that we can no longer edit/update the Price list here in this thread due to an automatic forum editing limit of 4 years (Yes, we have been doing it for that long! LoL ). As I said last month, currently, the only place that our full price lists are available, is at our website.

However, the added bonus is that we also have the location list for all the armours as well as a full details catalogue available too. Overall its a much easier 1 stop location for all your SFE information needs.

Don't fret though, I will be creating a new thread so that those people that spend their time here at PCF, will still be provided with notification of all things SFE. Its just a matter of working out a new format (the same one for the last 4 years was getting a bit old ) as the formatting tools have changed in this new version of the forum and we want to give it as fresh a look as possible.

So, stay tuned.

You may remember from October, we can no longer edit/update the Price list here in this thread due to an automatic forum editing limit of 4 years (Yes, we have been doing it for that long! LoL ). Currently, the only place that our full price lists are available, is here at the website. Overall its a much easier 1 stop location for all your SFE information needs.

Hi Everyone,

Well the New Year celebrations (and for some, the associated hangovers) have been and gone and now we settle into the seemingly long grind of 2012.

Have you broken your New Years Resolutions yet? Well if you have, what better way to do it than to check out the new Arkadian armours we have available in our range. Musca (L), Corvus (L), Canis (L), Lupus (L), Hydra (L), Ursa (L) and soon to be Cetus (L)!

All these new armours are currently available in our PA Mall shop and will remain there till we get a new shop on Arkadia, though we are still deciding on whether or not to continue stocking them on Calypso after that.

Hi Everyone,

Well, we are already into February and the momentum of the new year has yet to subside. This month sees the official opening of our first outlet on Planet Arkadia!

As you may have already read last month, we recently purchased Booth #3 at Celeste Quarry from Oboy Berto Oboyto, and since then we have been busy asking the community what armours from our range they want to see stocked there initially.

We will eventually stock our whole Arkadian range as well as some specially imported sets from Calypso when we acquire more Arkadian shops, so stay tuned for more to come!

We only have limited space available at CQS (Celeste Quarry Shop) so only the 3 voted most popular on our PAF thread, will feature here for the time being, namely Corvus (L), Cetus (L) and Ursa (L). However, if you want any of the others not currently at CQS, all you need to do is take a short hop over to our PA Mall store on Calypso and you will find our entire imported Arkadian range there.

So drop in today, grab some new shiny Arkadian armour and take it for a spin.

Well, we are now well into April and the momentum of 2012 has still not subsided. Last month saw the listing of the first Arkadian shops and apartments --- and we were lucky enough to get one of the hand-full released at Sanctuary Cove --> Building #3!

Though we are still in the throes of getting the shop and new HQ showroom ready for its official opening, we will have operational stock for sale from this weekend, so come on through and have a look.

Please note: Unlike our booth at Celeste Quarry, this shop will have our entire range of Arkadian armours available (excluding Musca, which is available from the Arkadian TT).

Prices Updated for June

Hey, who stole May? Seriously, where did it go? You look away for 2 seconds and a whole month goes by....then again, maybe the CEO's monkey took it?

Anyway, we are now well into June and with the end of the tax year just around the corner (depending on what country you live in), life is going to get busy once again.

Late last month, we saw the release of the first phase of Treasure Hunting on Planet Arkadia and at the beginning of May we had the soft launch of Planet Cyrene. Exciting times were to be had on both planets as new discoveries flooded in.

Looking ahead, August will hopefully see the implementation of the first of Arkadia's instances, making the second phase of Treasure Hunting available on that planet. I for one, cant wait to see what the A-Team has in store for us next.

We are still in the throes of getting the new HQ ready at Sanctuary Cove, but the new shop there has been open for a month now with the FULL range of our available Arkadian armours. Also, a special set of signs has been made with all the stats information displayed for our current range. So, you can go in and have the information right in front of you to advise you on your purchase. Handy eh?

Next I will be working on kitting out our showroom which will be set up in the apartments of the same building, with the CEO and LOGO's offices on the top floor. At this stage, we are thinking of putting a helipad in on the roof so the Chief Monkey can swing on in at his leisure.

Ok, this is getting beyond a joke. First May goes missing and now July seems to have quietly slipped away in the night too...If that monkey's been nicking stuff again.....?

Anyway, we are now into August and well on our way through the first quarter of a new Financial Year (depending on your part of the world). Many things are happening in the real world and if you are keeping up with the latest from NASA, then also on other worlds too (Curiosity on Mars)! Very exciting and interesting times to be alive.

Life isn't slow in the virtual world either and the people on Arkadia are getting excited with the hopeful release of "Instances" coming with this months PP Content Update. Going by this latest post from Cyrus, the Planet Arkadia Community Manager, the A-Team are going great guns and if the comments I've seen so far are anything to go by, the colonists of Arkadia (and the wider Entropia community) can't wait to get to grips with this new edition to the Universe.

Here at SFE, we are continuing our work on the new HQ at Sanctuary Cove. It's a slow process (due to RL commitments) but before too long we hope to have a fantanstic showroom as well as our flagship Arkadian shop there.

Don't forget, the SC shop is open with the FULL range of our available Arkadian armours. You'll notice that a couple of the signs are still blank so if you have any suggestions for them please feel free to send ideas to me via logistics@southernfortress.com.au

Hello October...Yet another busy month and there's no end in sight with Christmas looming on the horizon! Might be time to start thinking about a new armour for Christmas?

You must have been living on an asteroid somewhere out of comms distance if you haven't heard of the Gold Rush happening on Planet Arkadia? If not, head on over to Planet Arkadia Forum to see what its all about and get involved in the forum Arkoin auctions that are still underway at the moment. Theres both real and virtual items up for grabs, including T-shirts, caps, Alienware mice and computers, high-end IFN armour and blueprints!

Got no Arkoins? Well, grab your gear and maybe some mates, make your way to the Aakas Teleporter and get to grips with one of the ten instances found inside the Riptor head!

Last week saw another VU (12.8) with a lot of content arriving for most planets. The new RAW and SIR long range rifles have started to finally drop on Arkadia (we must have reached a milestone in the system as they were placed in the loot pool a number of months ago) and a few have already been found by lucky colonists.

On Sanctuary Cove, something odd is happening... The fearsome Kadra have suddenly changed appearance! IFN Scientists are baffled as to the how and why and are calling on all available colonists for help in bringing in samples for study.

Finally, don't forget that the SC shop is open with the FULL range of our available Arkadian IFN armours. Keep your eyes open for this range will be expanding soon with the first of the Arkadian series of armours. The SFE HQ is still being worked on so stay tuned.

Crikey! It's November!!!

Christmas is the big train steaming-rolling down the tracks towards us, so now is the time to be getting that new armour you've been eyeing up...It may not stop you from getting run over by the great Christmas train, but it will sure help keep you safe from all those nasty Christmas mobs

The Arkadian Gold Rush is finally starting to wind down, with only 1 or 2 competitions still to be decided and a couple of Arkoin Forum Auctions still to run out. If you don't know what I'm talking about then head on over to the Planet Arkadia Forum to see what its all about. You might be a bit late for this event, but there's always something going on to interest everyone.

On the Arkoin Forum Auction front, we unfortunately didn't win the bid on the QR100 Koroma Armour Blueprints. Happily however, they were won by a good friend of ours, KikkiJikki and so if you want a set of this cool armour, then we can point you in the right direction. Congratz KikkiJikki, we know you'll put them to good use. The Ankitus BPs are still up for grabs so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to report that we will be adding them to our range. Stay tuned.

Finally, don't forget that the SC shop is open with the FULL range of our current Arkadian IFN armours. Keep your eyes open for this range will be expanding soon with Aquila (L) and hopefully the first of the Arkadian series of armours, Ankitus (UL).

The SFE HQ is still being worked on, with some new striped carpets recently being delivered from our good friend Samuel Sam Robet. Sam runs a weekly Carabok hunting competition for newer players on Arkadia. Check out this link for the latest one running.

NEWSFLASH: Ankitus is on the way!

The Arkoin Auction for the 2 sets of QR100 Blueprints is finally over. Whilst the bidding was hot and fast on the Koroma set, the Ankitus auction was a little more sedate; surprising considering the same people were bidding on both sets.

Congratulations to our good friend (and temporary forum auction adversary ) KikkiJikki for finally winning the fight for the Koroma Blueprints (sadly I dropped the ball in the final stages of the auction due to a horrific weekend at work and a desperate need for sleep).

However, all was not lost, as we still managed to win the Ankitus set and will be adding them to our range as soon as we meet up with Cyrus to trade for the 370000 Arkoin winning bid.

Those observant people among you will already see that we have added Ankitus to the Pricelist, though we are yet to state a price for it till we work out the cost to craft.

Initially, Ankitus will only be available from our Sanctuary Cove shop on Arkadia. Calypso customers will have the option of contacting us and requesting a set for delivery to Calypso. Depending on popularity, we may add it to the range available in PA Mall along with Cetus (L) when we gain more item points in the shop.

Looking forward to next month and seeing plenty of Ankitus heading out the door.

Wow, another year almost done, and Christmas is here again.

Well, another year done, another Christmas and New Years celebration over and now its back to work for us all....Well most of us. For some, once again the "Silly Season" lived up to its name and so as a consequence our Operating Theatres did see quite a busy period over the Christmas and New year fortnight and well into the first half of the month. Hence why its the 12th and I'm just getting to this update now

On a happier note, looks like a few people took my advise and checked out our Ankitus armour in Sanctuary Cove last month. It seems that our pricing was well justified and appreciated in the run up to Christmas as it has sold like hotcakes! If it continues to be this popular then we might very well have to see about importing some over to Caly to add to our Arkadia range at PA Mall.

On the home front, last month saw SFE accomplish a very long term goal in finally getting our name up in lights, so to speak. Its been a very long ranged wish of ours to be interviewed by famous EU Reporter and Picture Storyteller, MindStar9...and in December 2012 we finally got our wish when Her Royal Purpleness did the first "Business Who's Who" interview with us for MindStarMedia.com. If you haven't heard it already then click the link here to listen in now.

Also, don't forget that the "Riptor Rampage" event is still going on Arkadia this month. Might be the ideal time to dust off your gear, score some Global action on those nasty lizards and put yourselves in the running to win some great prizes!

As some of you may know, SFE is based in Perth, Western Australia....and whilst I certainly consider myself a loyal and proud "Sandgroper" (nickname for us West Aussies), I am in fact originally from Cardiff in the UK (yes, that makes me a Taffy ). Its been 18 years since I last stepped foot in the "motherland" and I thought it high time I popped over for a visit! So, I'm looking forward to catching up with family and friends as well as doing some sightseeing of what's changed in all this time. Especially looking forward to catching up with Mel and Brownie from Normandie Radio.... and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mel on his famous "pints of Vodka and Red Bull" .
