Hmm... so it means when the sale gets some publicity, the new wave of players will come, as after TI purchase.
And some of them will be truly a new breed: instead of 'will dance for 1ped' thingie they will shout 'will dance for a ticket to Calypso' (as there probably won't be any sweat or fruits)

If i close my eyes on the fact that it'll be another playground for Ubers, i must say i'm impressed and all the features sound too good, good thing PE is expanding.. BUT! no storage and not even a emergency TP like on CPSS.. kinda sux..

Actually...I think Deathifier got shafted. Instead of MA adding improvements to his TI, they add a new bobble for a new investor.
EDIT: Actually ...I think that you are correct...forgot about Deathifier getting new hangars and etc....I'm not changing original post here so people can see what you were answering.

Still, there seems to have been a lot of land deed sales lately and I am wondering if anyone had a sniff of what was going on, because these land deeds are selling for big bucks.
There seem to be some players here with some serious amounts of money, and I wouldn't be surprised, if they are working on a legal plan, to buy the Space Port between several Ubers with a Legal document stating this fact in writing and somehow involving MA in any of the legal wranglings due to the insane amount of money involved.
Other than that, I wait with baited breath to see, what must be the next major update to this game.
However, how long before it actually starts to make any profit? How many Apartments are still up for sale on TI?
It all sounds like a lot of fun, but I suppose I'm one of those people that would like to see some serious info on this major update before parting with a serious amount of cash.

I think Deathifier will do well. Now that hangers will be in demand and they gave him a few this last VU and I am sure more in the future. It just depends on the direction MA will go with space travel in the future.

His new hangers(and more to come @ 10k min a shot) are now more valuable then ever before? and actual are now a viable way to earn some steady income.. You can expect at least a doubling of the space traffic with this new resort. And when a large event is staged up there for us . well.. expect a need to move 200+ folks up there and down in a very short time period.
The effect on hunting and mining on his land is minimal. Besides, his investment is approching its maturity (break even) level now anyway. 100k+ of houses sold, mining and hunting fees (20k+ profit maybe). And you still have the assets, a land with 4 hunt areas and stations, and still the largest castle in PE. He may not be in 'the black' yet, but i expect within another 9 months he will be.
So no, this new expansion will not affect TI greatly in my opinion.

In the past people used to buy mod faps for 10k USD, that may of seemed as mad as there was no forceable revenue from just owning the fap.
This land deed does seem a lot of money, but when the odds are weighed up it would seem to be a sound investment, it wouldnt take much to make the place popular and to start attracking possible investors for the billboards etc.
People thought deathifier may of made a bad choice buying tresure island , but in all aspects he has made it turn out quite well. It seems the next logical step for something of this size to happen.

Just thinking outloud here....
To bid on an item you have to have that many peds in-game. So the people that are seriously thinking on bidding will have to deposite the funds first. So if say just 4 people decide to bid when price gets over 100k peds...thats alot of peds in game.
Then after auction has ended.....those that didnt win, would probably want to withdraw those funds from in-game....and with MA taking a percentage for withdrawing....MA makes quite a tidy sum on the withdrawal fee...OUCH !

Edit: And MA shouldn't either take anything from the sale. So if this goes for BO there should suddenly be 1 000 000 PED extra in the lootpool... but I can't remember MA commenting if they take any/all from the estate sales.

Still The regular space station with four biodome has a TP. Probably from this point we don't fly to amethra. we fly from that station to the resort. Then from the resort to amethra. Like that we don't have to worry about charging less because the TP charge 10peds.
I Think I'll do a buyout on the resort..hmmmm
