Hey Guys,

Got to say, loving what you have done so far, but as for Merry Mayhem this year I think the points system is sort of not going to work out, as the majority of winners will be players who have access to a High end weapon which they can use to get more done per 1 hour instance.

So I had come up with this ... Could be too late for this year though.

Here it is...

Single Loot Points and Kill-points per Mob

Each player is given a choice of an assignment to gather a requested amount of Kill-points per instance before the instance time is up.

OPTIONAL: For teams, the assignment is greater than the solo player choices, a team must also be formed before they can activate an assignment choice, since the assignment choice will be based on how many are in the team.

If the assignment is not reached then the Kill-points are not added to the player/team score and only get the Single Loot Points.

*** One other addition you might like think of is... since each assignment is to gather the requested amount of Kill-points where these Kill-points will be added to the score if assignment is completed, then make it more interesting and make it that if the player/team kills more than the requested Kill-points then for each extra mob killed the mobs Kill-points are removed from the player/team total instance points.

In the below example's the Total score is made from ("Kill-points Gained" plus "Single Loot Points" minus "Over Killed") where the Over Killed points is removed from the total score.

Assignment - Kill _______________

Kill-points Required: 900
Duration Time: 1 Hour

  • Kill-points Gained = 900 (Assignment met - Kill-points added to total score)
  • Single Loot Points = 26443
  • Over Killed = 0
  • Total Score = 27343
----------------------------------------------------------

Example: Over killed


Assignment - Kill _______________

Kill-points Required: 900
Duration Time: 1 Hour
----------------------------------------------------------
  • Kill-points Gained = 900 (Assignment met - Kill-points added to total score)
  • Single Loot Points = 26443
  • Over Killed = 5 (if each mob kill-points = 6 then 5x6=30, then minus 30 off the total score)
  • Total Score = 27313
----------------------------------------------------------

Example: Assignment not met


Assignment - Kill _______________

Kill-points Required: 900
Duration Time: 1 Hour
----------------------------------------------------------
  • Kill-points Gained = 840 (Assignment not met - kill-points not added to total score)
  • Single Loot Points = 26443
  • Over Killed = 0
  • Total Score = 26443
----------------------------------------------------------

I don't get it

A. If those point are made easy to get in 1 hour, than it;s no challenge
B. If those points are hard to get in 1 hour DPS still rulz

C. So....


And how is single loot defined?

Single loot score = points from what you loot
