Torchwood: Always looking for new weekend members.

Torchwood was started a few months ago to help out new players. We only meet on the weekends, so if you are a highly active player then our soc probably won't be the best fit.

However if you are like most of our members and the weekend is the only time you have to play we welcome you.

We are still a small soc, but our 2 founding members have been playing over a year and have great tips for new players, advice on what equipment to invest in, and we do TP runs as well.

Nothing is more boring then sweating or TP runs, but it can be very fun if you have someone to talk to.

We are currently working on establishing a sweat market. We are not rich players, but we are working on a way for newbies to trade sweat for items at a set rate. Nothing drags this game down faster then new players who have been sweating for hours only to find out that it's very hard to sell the sweat, and the only way for them to get anywhere is to deposit. Our project won't eliminate that, but it may alleviate some of the hopelessness that new players feel.

So if your new and need help come find us. If you only play on the weekends we definitely encourage you to find us.

We have finally gotten a rate set on sweat. Basing our info on Sweat being 5 PED per 1000.

That equals to 1 PEC being worth 2 units of sweat, so that makes it really easy to figure pricing and markups. Yes we are going to incorporate the markups into our prices because we want to keep this going as a real store, and not a giveaway.

So for example if something was 3.75 PED in value with a 102% markup its total price in ped would be 3.825 PED rounded up to 3.83 PED, and that would be 765 units of sweat.

We have limited items for sale like this as we are still starting out, and it will only be open to Members of Torchwood until we are more established.
