I see lots of people posting complaints about the bugs of new updates and "untested" VUs.
I would just like to say shame on MA and the planets for trying to innovate and push the game forward. Through all my years of playing I have yet to experience that is any way crippling to my game-play. A lot of issues that are not shown when testing on small scale local servers appear when they are integrated on large servers. I have personally seen this when I was working on my own games just for fun. It just bugs me when people complain that the best they can is not good enough and so on. They are working as hard as they can to pound awesome stuff out. Look at space they had that near perfect in a single update. If you really think their best is not good enough and you can do better check this link out. http://www.mindark.com/career/current-positions/ It appears they are looking for a new C++ coder, Get on it.
Lastly, I conclude with if we continue to cry about small inconvenient bugs in a game that in that is technically free to play then perhaps any innovation will stop.

Although I'm very vocal about MA's faulty implementation.... I've, AFAIR, not criticized MA for bugs.

A system with constant addition of new content will never be bug free.... and expectation of such is wrong.

Having said that, MA should identify and fix bugs asap...but that needs more coder/developer... meaning more money!

Have you ever played other games? :scratch2:

I played EvE about 4 years and I experienced one bug during this time. Due to this bug I lost a ship which was refunded two hours later after i petitioned the bug.

In EU I log in and after maximum 5 minutes I encounter the first bug that is critical for my enjoyment of the game. I reported several bugs never got refunded.

I tend to agree. The number of bugs per update is not acceptable. They really should have a mirror server to test the updates on, not release them to the general world server until tested. They should have a checklist like pilots do before take off. They could even pay player to log into the test server and try out the updates and look for bugs. I also think there should be region based servers, one for Europe, one for North/South America and one for Asia pacific.

Anyway, let's see what mess this update creates! Free to play or not, this isn't good when the updates fail.

I did, including eve, but only for a very short time (<7 days)... can't tell about bugs in them!

Honestly, a lot of ppl complain about a lot of bugs (just like the one you've mentioned above).. but i've not encountered that many to make me feel very annoyed and post them in forum.

The longerst running bug i'm having is actually the nerf bug MA imposed on me for several months....

Every bug makes EU special, to hell with those greasy soulless perfect MMOs!

Funny that such an upbeat post would come from a player with such an forum nickname. Funny that this is the first time such an irony is seen in this direction (upbeat post from pessimist name). Most often, it is the other way around (someone with an upbeat name posting something less happy).

heh well ive not even managed to install this update, for some reason the splash screen is telling me ive got 128.6 TB(!) to download
