VU 9.3 - A Breath of Fresh Air​

[wrap=left]https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/5/4/9/1/drunkodd.jpg[/wrap]After nearly four months since the last Version Update, one of the last possible VU's before this year's CryEngine debut arrives with new toys and updated mob diversity. Avatars even get new emotes, including the new 'Sporty' and 'Drunk' postures!

On of the biggest changes this VU is the modification of many of the more popular mobs of Entropia: Feffiods, Atrox, Aurli, Combibo, Kretlin and Maffoids. If the HP regeneration changes seen with Ambliumax and Allophyl were any sign, colonist are in for quite a fight!

Requested by many members of the EU community, players now have the option to show only parts of their avatar's name again. 'Sir Odd' will once again be displayed in the Sakura Trade Center!

[wrap=right][/wrap]While the downtime for the update extended past the expected 14:00 MA release time, we waited four months for this update, so the delay kept the EF fourm and chatroom bursting at the seams.

Also, music to some hunters' ears is the placement of a new RX base in PvP1. This could really make for some interesting battles now that they have a base of operations to stage attacks.

A new memorial has been added to Memorial Island, located directly west of the teleporter. The memorial is in memory of a daughter of a member of our community. As usual, people are leaving gifts in memory, and others are picking the stuff up.

However, an early treat to players is the new login screen, featuring an avatar in Supremacy armor, Spikey hair in a tux, and a cute Daikbia...on a chain?! If there are chains in this VU, pets will be popular apartment decor...
