I decided to create a video and tell two stories about medical issues and how me deciding not to do anything and ignore it led to some terrible consequences.
The first story is a little light hearted and is about "Testicular Torsion". In my late 20's I woke up with a feeling that someone kicked me in the crotch repeatedly while I slept. Instead of doing anything about it I proceeded to spend the day at work roofing with my father.
The second story I found a little hard to fully record and kind of broke down at the end so bear with me. I knew for a long time that something is coming for my life and I ignored it. The last 4 months or so I started to notice signs that things are getting more severe and it is time to do something; I needed to get examined. I found out on 6/19/24 that I will be beginning my battle against Colorectal Cancer starting with having my bowels entirely (well, 99% but still) removed in July. Good times!
So, come listen about what not to do if you are ever in these situations and hopefully ya'll learn from my mistakes and take your health seriously!
