It's not a normal patch, its a complete re-download. 2.9 Gig.

Took me about that long to download too.

but if, as mega says, it's a complete redownload... bare in mind that 10.0 was four gigs and this was only 3....

if this has to do with them changing file size, it hopefully means better performance overall for the game,

For me it said trying to connect to the server and i left it for about 10 minutes. When I came back it was still saying that, and I clicked the x to close it out THEN it asked if I wanted to do the bit torrent dl or the client dl. I chose the client and it downloaded and installed just fine and pretty quickly. About 750 kb/s which was fine .

I started mine when i left for work, was done when i got home 8.5 hours later.

Its definitely a full download again.

As my connection at home is low speed I downloaded at work and to test the file I tried installing it. It didn't complain about not having a previous installation and the only thing it did complain about was that the vc++ 2005 libraries were out of date as the machine had just been reinstalled the previous day.

The fact that the content files are now encrypted is more than likely the reason for the fresh install.

The download finished overnight... i was stuck around 40kb/s when i saw... that was off the client and my connection is not that slow... so no idea but w/es i'm updated and will be in game because i know you all miss me
