I would like your opinions on what these are worth, both their realistic value as well as what they could be sold for.

They are similar to or better than 5Bs depending on the usage.
They are low tt so a new player or a low budget "weekend" player could buy them easier than 5bs to use or try larger mobs with.

Please keep it clean and on topic, keep other discussions to the discovery thread or your own.

gl and have fun,

What are the ingredients to manufacture? How much does it cost roughly per click?

I think these are fantastic! On a valiant, this is like a limited Shogun with very high durability. While its a slightly different balance than 8A(L), I don't see why these should go for less, so at least 125-130%, I guess? Certainly beats 5B by a mile unless you need 2 points of extra impact protection.

Bump this up for some input.

Added a link to the OP to the other plates as well.

130-150%, i would buy just because they have low TT.

I will repeat the important question before magically pulling a MU out of my ass. How much does 1 cost to make ?

This is irrelevant, nobody asks how much did it cost to kill 1 trox when u want to sell the shadow harness it dropped.

:scratch2: crafted item that have a avg. sucsses off 1 in 3 klicks agains a item you might loot in 1 million kills... I do get you point

well, it certainly matters if you use ingredients with extremely high mu unless you want to click at a loss and sell the finished plates at 110%. I expected a better answer from a veteran player to be honest.

My point is that the cost to click an L print is usualy insignificant compared to the cost to loot the bp, in the same way the cost to kill the mob that loots an item is insignificant when compared to the cost to kill the thousands of mobs it took to find the one that dropped the item.

At the end of the day you're buying the item not the process that created the item, supply & demand is the overriding factor.

The tt cost per click is on entropedia now. But this does not reflect the markup of the resources since they are as rare as the prints and plates themselves.

When there are more people on Rocktropia hunting and mining, then the mu of those resources will come into play, but for now I am for the most part killing my own dragons and zombies, and mining my own rarer Rocktropia Resources and clicking my own crap prints to loot the new ones.

If you want to count it that way, I lost over 700ped hunting to get the hides needed for a set of morrison plates.
I burned 150bombs to get a couple clicks worth of ore for the rudolf print.
On average I am getting 1 dragon hide/tail/claw each 150-200ped of ammo.

I am a lowish level hunter and miner, and really low level crafter. You dont want to know the cost to make these to determine the price. 3 specialists (hunter, miner, crafter) working together could do it ALOT cheaper than I have.

I consumed my years worth of collecting and purchasing in order to make the few sets ive got now, so now im stuck mining for rares and hunting dragons that are above my skill level.

I will start a sales thread today for what I think is a fair price.
