Can we have an official statement on the hydra loot from the different bot events?

I feel that this deserves an own thread, considering how many times it is posted in the Developer-Notes-2 thread.

So? Are we not allowed to loot uber items if we are not one of the chosen few?

Someone said only ubers have looted uber stuff during the event, and Charles commented that this was NOT true since non-ubers also looted uber items while the Hydra were there. That was not a reply about the cause of Hydras being removed for a while.

Hell, I think he even mentioned some examples a bit after that.

i recall him saying, that ANY avatar that did damage to the mob can loot an item if it drops one, regardless of total damage done. however, an avatar that does more damage has a better chance of getting said item.

Yep, I was there too. Was there pretty much everyday the hydra were. I know of 2 items being looted, uber items and 1 rare robot componet, more may have dropped but from what I know as a fact.

ML35 looted by someone with either UL HL8 or HL11 i cant remember
Shadow foot guard Looted by someone with MM i believe
dynocyclic relay for the imp fap not sure what this person was hunting with this loot dropped about 5 min after my log off.

this excludes all L loots and esi's, im not mentioning them.

The biggest problem with entropia universe is that the principal depositors have no idea how much money MA has channeled to their chosen targets.

Seriously it's like a casino that chooses who hits blackjack. No transparency, no liability, no regulation. There is a reason I stopped depositing after the first month of play. I learned that I had ZERO reason to trust the company and at least a few reasons to have some suspicions.

And I still believe they did something to the drop-rates when they stopped spawning for a while.

1. We don't have a lot of an idea how many items actually dropped because not everyone screams about them and not all appear on auction immediately
2. The reference is to a thread of 2010. If you look at the ATH list, things have change since then right.
3. The costs of the teams mentioned where much bigger compared to the shared loot event where everyone could allow themselves to die quite often and not wear basically anything. So I think it's quite fair the rewards are smaller.
4. Loot is dynamic, and dynamic is defined by MA. Live with it.

I spent most of the event shooting Eviscerators, as they were the biggest mob I could shoot reasonably efficiently (without playing the shared loot lottery). There may have been more, but the two uber items I know of (red banana) that dropped from these during the event went to two of the three people who hunted them most during the event. Neither of them would be considered ubers in the traditional sense (although by sheer volume of grinding I dare say they're getting there). My soc mate was one of those people, he's grinded naturally to Kill Strike over the last six years and this is his best loot ever by a significant margin.

The reason you feel ubers get more of the items is that they are the ones grinding the most ped, and thus buying the most lottery tickets. And they are able to shoot the bigger mobs that drop the big items more.

so one paranoid person spams the thread with this over and over and that is the reason it deserves its own thread?
i have to ask you, and/or the paranoid person, have they ever watched star or stryker streaming on twitch.tv?
have you seen the ungodly amount of ammo they burn through in one hour? have you any idea?
it must be over 1k ped, now if there are whole groups of ppl spending ped at that rate hunting a event mob are you then surprised that those groups get some of the good items that could drop, even if MA put them in there for the event? During the last robot event MA put a whole load of items in the loot pool too, with prizes to win.
Now most ppl that got items on shared loot or solo did not talk about it but if you had paid attention you would see that in the uberloot section of this forum there are examples like these:

oleg from skilling villains, a dedicated player but certainly not someone that normal gets called MA's chosen, loots the part need for one of the Protector of the empire sets:

and this is without even bothering to try digging for more.
no offence meant but if you are shooting argo young (dont you hate the tracker) then yes it is very unlikely that you will loot a item like those mentioned.
