New Rank in Mentor skill / 260

I was 241 in Mentor Skill,
before the re-introduction of the VU10 missing profession "Mentor".
So I had 19 disciples who graduated with the new Mentor system.

In total, since I play (2004 to today),
I had exactly 29 disciples who graduated.

I think my mentorship is bugged.

During the time I was being mentored, my mentor got banned.
I never received anything, and am not allowed to be mentored by anyone else.

I sent a support case a couple years ago, but nothing ever happened

How can I have 260 points for only 29 disciples ?
* For sure, old players know that...

In Project Entropia times, Mentors were receiving 30 points for each disciple.

So 1 (basic skill point)

+ 8 disciples (8 x 30 ) = 241

- VU 7.4 new skill system

I had 2 more disciples who graduated in the VU 7.4.
Which gave me 0 skill point.

I did a support case asking why I was getting no skill, this was the answer.
* I don't see how 0 skill can be "considerable".

No Magyar, I never had 241 disciples.
If you knew how things worked before, this would avoid 6 pages of crap in my thread.
I have many friends who have 600, 800 or more points in Mentor.
They just did not post their skills.
I said I was a n00b mentor, never I pretended to be the best. (10 disciples)

Then new disciple system after VU10 (about 2 years ago)

19 more disciples, with 1 point each.

Total 1 + 8x30 + 2x0 + 19x1 = 260.

29 disciples.

Here are the pics I made for the disciples I had in Project Entropia time
my first 8 disciples, and gifts received in order.

Notice that weapons damages were 100% at this time,
and not an interval of 50-100%, see 25-50.
(and same for all tools).

Thank you a lot.

I can say that, YES, after all I did for this game and in this game,
I have quite never seen any recognition for my work from mindark directly or undirectly.

At least few players like you today showed kindness and it is really appreciated.

Just know that I accept all people who are looking to learn as a disciple.
I set no limit of time, no particular wallet, and I really do all my best for them.
Showing to them the bests aspects of this game, giving the bests tips.

I do this thread, mainly for the players who succeeded to graduate as a disciple.
And it is also a way to track what mentor gifts are given,
even if I hugely supsect (since I always get the same items) that those items are associated to a parameter set on my avatar. Never I was "given" a corrosive chip or any other cool mentor edition gifts i've seen popping up since the new disciple system, and this to people who worked far less than me in this "profession".

Anyway, I do not complain, each free item comming from mindark is a benediction

Share is free, and I always did, in the game, or in this forum.

But I am not swedish, and this clearly killed me in this "game".

Unfortunately I am guessing that mentoring gifts are just like any loot, a lottery. But keep graduating disciples and you should get something nice some day. Just make sure to enjoy what you do so it doesn't end up frustrating and tedious.

MA should really add rewards to mentoring, something like the iron missions, so that a hard working mentor gets rewarded for his work. Some kind of bonuses at certain levels at the very least.

I entered my 11's year in this game this summer and I can tell you that luck is an illusion in this game.
