The ownership deed to an as yet unnamed commercial SPACE RESORT under construction amidst the treacherous but Mineral Rich Paradise V Asteroid Belt has been placed in the Project Entropia Auction. Designed as a Pleasure Paradise the Resort built on an Asteroid is a monumental project aimed at being a primary destination for Entertainment in the known Virtual Universe.

For the person not willing to take the risk of loosing a bidding war there is always the possibility to use the Buy out button. Provided you have the necessary funds available. Shall we say an even million PED? :)

That is really cool. Now I am happy I got my Hanger even more. I wonder how much this place will go for? Once we can pilot are own ships in space that will be awesome too. I can't wait to take down some space pirates or bots if it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg to do it :tongue2: I know it will all be worth the wait Thanks MA :)

The description about the biodomes for 'unique and exotic creatures' gets me wondering, maybe the dna thats floating around isnt going to be used in LG area's at all but in this new complex?

they say 'no storage & no TP available' but also mention newcomers spawning there. lol good way to get newcomers to deposit :D
 
Time to do a business plan, and work hard on it in order to attract investors :computer:

In addition the Resort will feature Owner Operated PA System for Streaming Music and Video to biodomes and screens/billboards strategically placed throughout the space resort and for a fee even a Planet side Video Billboard Network located in all major towns and cities can be accessed for marketing.

Well I don't know if 1 000 000 PED is that impossible, really...

No storage, though. Which sux big ass :wise:
Unless MA intorduce some send-items-to-storage-mindforce-chip thingy, so hunters and miners can unload, I think this place isn't going to be all too popular... then again you might just buy an appartment for what, 100ped? ;)

I like the idea that its no TP to up there. That way hangars will have more work again :thumbup:
 
Certainly looking very interesting indeed. I'm taking bets now on how big a record it will set in terms of the most amount of money place for a piece of Real Estate ;)

I doubt commercial interests will look at it, but maybe we just might have "The Sprite Zone" space station..
 
Using billboards (replace the voting booths) for advertising is something I've mentioned since starting PE


It was in the original PE Concept. Thats what all those boarded up shops n buildings are in all the towns - they were meant to be used by actual shops and businesses

Now, this sounds much better - as long as the billboards arent permanently playing adverts - as long as there is SOME entertainment content, this will be excellent!

Anybody ever play SCOL? (About 4 years ago - and what I reckon the PE idea came from) It had video billboards, and was really entertaining
But it looks like MA want the up-front cash and no effort, rather than managing it themselves. If they did it themselves it would be more work, but would head them towards being a more professional company imo. They would also then control the content

Let's wait and see - but it sounds exciting

Well, a very very interesting thing they're doing here :)


I think the owner of this "little" thing will have many hours of work if he really wants to do something with this space station. I can't wait to see it sold and to go there for a little sightseeing trip :D

no, i think letting it to a nonMA campain and all just opens very promising ways...depends on who will be the owner.. can be sold.. shareholders.. i need a cigarette :)

Interessting Risk Investment

You not only generate Monney from the Apartment Sales and Hunting/Mining Taxes no you can also search for Companys who would like to see their Ads in the Space Station.

I think a company like "Golden Palace" would easy pay 15 - 20 K Usd to get the space station named like their Company. Just imagine the Press when someone pay 100K usd for a virtual item and the name of the space station is all time mentioned. Well im still not interessted because the Risk seems too big. As usal you dont own a shit just the property rights and the TT of this Deed will .... 0 ped. If MindArk fail for any reason the monney is gone with a big poof. :)

But i think i know at least a hand full of PE Addicts who may take this chance and i strongly think there wont a bidwar just an buyout war who can faster click the buttons.
