maybe MA decided to change them when they put it into the game? the mutant looks like an umbra, but maybe they made them with a knife because robots had the guns... who knows lol :silly2:
 
Why do you think Maddox guns are called maddox guns ? Why trixi boots are called trixi boots etc ... theres milion examples of how MA made up the name just so ... on the run :)
 
This is MindArk we are talking about here :p ... Those pictures are from beta if I remember correctly. That's a good three years time for changes to happen ;)

Were those mobs in beta by the way?

I think mutants should have different weapons includeing guns, I even think the same mutant should be able to switch between melee and ranged attack. Same with robots, they should do melee up close and shoot you to death at range. :D

I so wish MindArk upgraded the mob ai and behavior so that they're more intresting and challengeing. *sigh*
 
Yeah guns for mutants.. might even carry the weapon they have in their loot. of any. or they'll have to fist fight :)
 
I want Gazonk. Gazonk looks fluffy! :D

Hheh. Katang indeed looks like daikiba.

Neco bug looks like Fornicacida, sorta, kinda.

Yes, Gazonk is what I want to see, really really. The critter was teasing us on the startup screen for months. Maybe they are waiting for a grand opening. Maybe Gazonk spawns somewhere in Amethera? Like, 1 species for the whole continent?
 
Gazonk makes me think of Berycled :rolleyes:

anyway.. hope MA adds these mobs ;)

I think Gazonk looks a bit too "anime" for PE. Don't get me wrong, me likes anime... but this mob definitely looks out of place compared to the rest of the mobs... and frankly, it looks too cute to hunt.

Fugabarba looks cute too! We still shoot the suckers.

They would of course give gazonk a less animated face.
