Ok lets try and get some good out of the whole Squall TTing OA-105 UL amp.

Lets put a petition to MA asking for an overhaul of the rule:

A "Confirm Transaction" panel has been introduced listing all items being sold to the Trade Terminal. Items mistakenly sold to the Trade Terminal will no longer be replaced by the Support Dept.

This petition will also call for a 30-60 day grace period where peoeple who in the past have lost items they TT'd by mistake can send a support requesting them back.

P.s. No items pre VU 9.0 should be included in this item return request.

So i'll update main page with the list of names of all people who want this rule change. Please post FULL ingame name!

Names so far:

Ericarrie Saoirse Saoirse
RO ALEX ALEXANDER
Joey Wormie Wormhill
The Legendary Xin
Jacob Jacke Sagefjord
Alexander Alle Bylund
CHRIS CHOPPER CHOPSTER
Jim EwoK Morris

It would be far better if MA programmed a "seal" system for items, so that the bearer would not be able to re-sell/drop/tt/trade the item while the seal is active. The seal would bear the mark of the owner. They could even charge 1 ped or smth for the sealing service as long as they will provide it, i don't care, its benefits would be far beyond that. It would enable a tracking system for items and an "idiot/tired/furious-proof" system to prevent any of these "mishaps". MA would thus engage in a system of guarantee for its clients - namely us, much like any bank would, except for bankruptcy situations.

The "seal" idea is a good one and puts the ownership on the person, they then have the choice of having added secuirty, if they choose not to do this then its their risk.

I would deffinately look at doing this for items worth over 500 PED.

Choice is always a good thing.

I don't think that's the way to do it either..

I think MA should have another policy about TT'ed items. They really need that!

Other than that, I'm still for a kind of "TT-lock" on every item. This is what MA really should do..

To the 3 previous posters....

This petition is to have them change the rule and allow a short grace period for other to have a chance at getting things they lost by mistake back, I have no comments in my opening post about what I think MA should do but we need to pull together as a community and make them change the rule!

So if you 3 are for this change them please post again your full ingame avatar name and i'll add you to the petition.

I want TT-rules changed. I think "item-lock" would be best way.....

I want the rule changed :)

The Legendary Xin.

But as I said. The best thing for MA to do is to add a 'TT-lock'.
But even if they did, I agree, they should still change the police against TT'ed items :wise:

"...dear MA, my item had the TT-Lock activated, but somehow it got TT'ed."

Give back etc.

hope I don't get banned  xD

Yep count me in mate. +rep

Doing it would be better than not doing it.

It's human nature to ignore a confirm warning if you're used to it, so once it's been around for a while it would not prevent any of the accidental TT's.

Prevention is marvellous, but a cure is fantastic as a last resort.
