Top 20 uber-players 2005

What about T-Rex and Daredevil?

I seen pics of Daredevil fap skilling with 3 AOa's.... then kill em off when he was done. This was before, when AOA's did 160dmg every hit, not like now when they do 80-160 or something..

daredevil ive seen selling skills...and T-rex selling property on auction. and remember always people, Daredevil was the first to break 20k hof, and that was way before the super mega uber hofs these days...

Id Take MAnic or WWW off that list and put T Rex and maybe Knabo aswell

NICE - just went through this whole thread to look for my name, and I'm overly happy that it didn't appear - because I'm 4ever n00b remember? :D

Anyway - I can qualify 1:
David manic Goliat..
Arthur Starman Dente too eventho I hardly ever spoke to him

And an negative uber thing for Auktuma (who aint uber in my book), because being uber - to me - also requires being nice and polite to ppl, and Auktuma was a real jerk to me once I came asking to have something crafted.. (Hey I'm just being honest here ;) dont flame me :D )

I see no difference.. :confused: chips gains skills, setting clicker to fap while being attacked by a few small mobs used to gain skills... Both (at that time) accepted ways to speed up skilling... :)


On a slight slant... and a little bit of "self promotion" :D I'm gonna nominate Nomads of the Apocalypse as Ubers of 2005. Formed last December now in Top 30... all 7 of us started around then too. Not bad progress for a year :)

In no way am I claiming that we are Uber players.............just quick learners :eek:

Well, when things like this are posted anywhere it's completely subjective.
I met Tuma about 3 yrs ago in game. I discovered the part of the world where he was from- which happened to be a part of the world that I have studied extensively for nearly 7 years in university. Since then, he's been one of the best ppl in game as far as politeness. Granted, however, he always seems to be a busy chap in game with a multitude of things to do.

And Tom- this isn't meant as a flame btw :girl: Just to clarify that some ppl are subjective. Tuma is one of the most experienced crafters so, regardless of his personality, he is more than likely included on many ppl's list of top players.

Lastly- to the top chicks playing- Mirandax is the one chick I know in game who is probably the most skilled.... you go lady! :)

chipping is taking the even easyer way out :p
 
Doh- one more thing with regards to the 'skill chip' argument.
This also depends on who you talk to. Indeed, chipping is the 'easy' way out, although it certainly isn't the cheapest :D
Many online games are having some problems with 'farming' (a topic that I have recently begun to delve into for my own little research which is quite interesting and widely extensive in the grand scheme of mmorpgs!). Once MA implemented skill chips it would most definitely lead to players wanting the highest skills, esp in this game where skills can and do save you money. As to whether or not they've actually saved money due to the cost of the chips is another question entirely ;)
Lists such as this are always difficult. Every1 has their own take on the issue.

Easier than setting a clicker and going to sleep for a few hours??? :) you have to buy the chip then get a tool then use the tool then float around a bit making noises.... :eek:

Lol im sure he was only having a bad day =) ..I think Auktuma is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. Really kind and overall nice =) ,
 
Two persons that really impressed me when i started playing PE was Faustian and Crash, thats almost three years ago now. They kept order at the rig, and took down those awfully big troxies. :) And i remember hearing rumours about a soc called cK, and how visious they where. *Stay away from them Ice!* And my first encounter with them resulted in death! But later on in life on calypso i noticed they arent so bad, as long as you dont meet them in PvP zones that is. Other persons i remember at the rig, that where noobs, like me, are Sonny Thristlethorn (or something similar). And the biggest chick i had ever seen! Her name was Etopia, she was as tall as me, and that is saying much. Well, that was my first few months of PE all those years ago. I still think of them sometimes, and smile. :)
 
There is only 1 uber player in this game and thats starman a pure hunter that got his skills from hard hunting and hard work!
