Hello everyone and thanks for reading this post! First I'm going to tell you about my first day here in EU and some background story, I hope you don't mind.
I began playing this game monday evening, 4.5 day ago and if I can say it myself I think I've done some good progressing
I was very lucky and found myself a mentor right away after I posted my introduction thread in this forum. His name is Levithanikos (link to his mentor service)and for the last few days I've had the pleasure to be taught by him and also enjoy his company as a friend.
I decided to be a miner even before I started playing the game and I'm really enjoying it. I'm now a bit more than halfway through my discipleship and I'm very close to maxing my MF-210(L) and is now looking to buy a 211 instead.
Anyway, I was doing a mining run and things wasn't really working out for me and all I got was tiny Growth Molecules (is there any worse find?). Ithought about calling it a night when a feffoid suddenly spawned on me and quickly killed me. To my suprise when I looked at the map I had ended up at an outpost where I've been once before and it took me ages to get out of there. I sighed and prepared for a long journey back to civilization and whining some to Levithanikos about my bad luck. He mentioned that he once had some good finds there and I decided to see if I could possibly find anything aswell. I dropped one probe and got a very poor oil, on my next one however I found a Substantial Alic! I was jumping up and down in my chair and here is how it looked (the global, not the jumping part):
