I'd love it if I was able to throw items (maybe a new skill or a device that can project items into the distance?)

There's an army of around 150 Atrax and I'd like to throw my next bit of treasure (Treasure Event) right into the middle of that army without having to get munched to death by all the Atrax :(

Where ? Where ? Where ?

More seriously, this is a very good idea.that can be extended.

I would be very very interrested in a new skill (and why not a new profession) allowing to throw things like grenades that would do area damage.

Edit : Of course with the risk of "disturbing" more than one of them.

That would certainly change some habits of hunting allowing me to do enough damage to big mobs before they reach me and still have a little chance to put them down.

Same would apply in PVP vs some guy in full Eon.

Yes that would be fun, we could make sports (drop a ME and see who can throw their midastree board closer to it)

Or even CURLING! (Sliding Iron Stones across the ice at segna :D)

Well MA recently hinted that area effect weapons are being introduced in the next VU :p Ill look for the quote, it was in the QaA session they recently had.

but Gen is asking to throw an item (say 100 ME) into the herd of trax to save him running in there and getting bitch-slapped by every one of them to drop it on the ground. (like a way of dropping items, but a lot further away from you)

Dung throwing.....

What a disturbed idea:D

Seriously, throwing stuff would be cool, don't think it would cause damage unless the item was decayed by being thrown?????

Stinky:yay:

I want to Hurl.. I Have to Hurl... I NEED to Hurl!

I actually opened a support case a while ago containing a hint to them to add more entertainment stuff which isn't directly dedicated to cause harm. As part of that I suggested to introduce a dung-slingshot...

Well, as you might expect, then came the usual design-team-reply, the support case was closed and I haven't heard about it since then.
