It was mentioned in a thread regarding LG that this member thought there were 10 australians playing PE. This got me to thinking and I guess a lot of other aussies too that I wonder how many of us there really are spread amongst the Soc's of PE.

So here is my thought I would like to arrange a get together meet and greet for all the Aussies in PE.

I am thinking that the best place to do this would be on TI since it is owned by one of the most high profile Aussies in the game and am hoping Deathifier will welcome us and join us for a while....

Tell me your thoughts and let me know if you would would be interested in attending so we can sort out some details and maybe make an event of it.

Aussie is Aussie whether you live here or find yourself somewhere else in the world if you are aussie you are welcome..... :D

And having said that you dont have to be an aussie to be welcome.......

You just might want to come and met the gang from downunder ;)

If you have any idea's on what we can do to make the gathering fun feel free to post them here aswell :wise:

PE seems to have a few things with a bit of an Australian theme, camp echidna for instance.The sollomate series of guns also reminds me of Aussie stuff.

busho...reminds me of all the frigging bush we have lol

Tasmo...Tasmania

Their is the opalo as well and maybe some others.Seems like one of the developers went to Aus for a holiday and went to Tasmania and stayed in the bush and looked at some kangaroos and Echidnas and searched for opals in the outback or something lol.

Ok we are toying with ideas for what we can do on the day to make it fun.... :scratch:

Damn i tried this and got one response. lol. But i don't look like echo's avatar so maybe thats the problem.

Ok i'm a melbournian. i'm in National Security Soc. I have a work mate who plays too. He is called Jet in game.

Full ingame name is Buster Westy Westmoreland.

We should all get together. I like the TI idea. But anywhere is good. We should go on a Berycled Hunt since they hop about like a roo does. Plus they loot ok and suit most skill levels.

I look forward to getting you all on my friend list. A unofficial mutual society perhaps. Unless we create a society. Call it 'Four'n'Twenty' perhaps.

no armour no fap last man standing wins???

We all approch the hogglo and let him attack without us running lucky last is the winner :D

stupid i know but could be a laugh?

as someone also said already any other aussies get a sense of home on Calypso i swear even some of the bird sounds are aussie birds hehe

and would be up for a meet n greet for sure ;)

Ok now that could prove to be a fun five minutes we could add to that a prize for he who was dealt the biggest hit during ....

We dont have to have just one thing to do so keep them coming but I love that idea. I can see myself standing in my thong knees shaking now. :scared:
 
Sweet, Hi fellow aussie, I could suggest a BBQ, maybe fry up some hogglo with some lazer guns.

I'm from country VIC but am currently traveing around a bit but am stuck in Auckland for a little while.

guess u could hide items all over TI center and make a hunt to find them all?

also Hulk, Max, Deathifier, Hellfire from DK are Australian.

We should have a free for all no armour unamped opalo shoot out or bowing tourney,once u die ur out ;) seems approtriate that TI is Pk area :wise:

We can all meet at TI as planned and arrange another tp that we all teleport to at the same time :silly2: just to make sure no one camps on us out side the aussie contestants???

I'd love to meet up with everyone, sounds fun ;)

Ill keep tabs on this tread for meeting times.....and i think CykoKick got Aussie beer confussed with Bud... :)
 
haha Thats the same joke i heard about australian beer but.. I thought it wouldnt be apropriate to post due to the language :p

Anyway Austalian beer isnt the worst but dutch is better for sure.

Anyway, u know that big beer companys change there beers to the preferred taste of the county, Same with most consumable products.

So the ducth beer u tasted prolly was made for the australian market, No wonder it was watery :p
 
No Aussie beer is the BEST!!

It is great to get a good response and I will see what we can do about setting a good day ......what day of the week suits you best want to try and get as many as we can online at the same time and make this a huge success.

Need to find a time frame to suit all players so evening get together is probably best .....give me some suggestions so I can get down to some serious planning. :coffee:
