Ok who sold the shadow arms for tt + 6 tonight?
 
I dunno but I wish I bought them :S

How do you know they got sold for that, but yet you dont know who it was? :S
 
simple, he saw it when the couter ran to 0000 in auction.(my best guess) i wish i saw that, i would have bought it!!!
 
they sold when the server was down or what ???

One of the members of my soc saw it happen in twin I think, seller was shouting the sale of shadow arms and after someone else said " who can aford them" the seller said he'd take sweat, soc mate asked how much the tt + was and he said + 6 and before my soc mate could say he would take it another person said "sold". I would have asked my soc mate what the sellers name was but thanks to MA subbing out the programming work for this VU to the french fry guy at mcdonalds I cant talk in soc chat :banghead: honestly this is the buggiest VU I have ever seen MA put together.

Aparently the buy was whitestar.

I think around 8k - 10k but Im not sure, I just know that they are a rare drop.

im sorry but if this is true, not knowing shadow is an expensive item is dence, you say he would of taken sweat ?????????? dont understand that.
either the person in question is just plain stupid or has money to throw away, either was a dumb thing to do :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: , definatly wont recieve rep points but dunce of the year so far yes.

That's a friend of mine, I'll ask him when he get's online. He IS selling a set of shadow arms in auction but I know he bought a set some months back, so this might be coincidense.

Oh well, we'll see ;)
 
I suppose it is theoretically possible for someone, although too new to the game to realise the value of Shadow Armour, could have killed one of the things that drop it, and then notice the nice tt value of the arms and decide to not be greedy and only add 6 or so ped to make it a round number or something....JUST WISH I'D BEEN THERE TO SAY SOLD!


either that or it was vampire with shadow written in crayon on top

Has no one still realized it might be someone with a very old account, from the times shadow parts were tt'd, and that for some reason came back and decided to sell some stuff, without realizing their market prices nowadays?

This is why the auction house was created. Now really, how could someone receive or obtain them for less than tt+6?

Maybe that person was unaware of auctions too. I believe those weren't still implemented in the time when shadow armor was tt food.

Ok, this is a costly mistake, I would say a 600$ worth mistake, whoever sold them should have learned this very expensive lesson. :confused:
 
I'm confused! Are we saying this DID happen or is it still speculation? If so would somebody be kind enough to explain exactly what happened? Seems like crazy talk to me!

Just somebody’s idea of a joke. I have to say it worked well, if I look at all the responses.

or mayb it sold at server down period? he/she is so lucky.. checked peauction, and found tt+5k?
 
Mystery solved:

The SELLER was Whitestar. Someone asked him the price for shadow arms, he responded "+6" and in jest the guys asking said "sold".

They where sold at a substantial higher price than tt+6 ped ;)

I have this from Whitestar himself btw.
 
Just a joke...

This was just a joke,
1. There is no way a n00b loot shadow
2. Any1 who start playing PE after 2nd-3rd week, knows the value of shadow
