How does LWT, BLP and Plasma effect min damage?

I made some calculations on how min dmg is effected by LWT, BLP and Plasma tecnology.
Acording to description of LWT on Wiki it shuld rais your min dmg by aprox 0,45% per 1000 lvl of skill, from my own calculations I get that it effect min dmg by aprox 1% per 1590-1600 lvls of skill and wuld apply on as well LWT, BLP as Plasma technology, do you have any figures to contribute to this as well please reply here, it wuld also be nice too se how mutch the other dmg related skills (anatomy, IRD, RDA etc) effect min dmg so if anyone have chiped these and noticed change in min dmg please tell us how they do effect it.

see my skills when i reached a new min dmg on ep40, hope it helps you.

max dmg 41

min dmg 14.1 (so 14.05) = 34.268%

agility 64 2/3
aim 2426
ird 2529
mms 4207
rda 3870
wh 3249
anat 5015
lwt 5999 (chipped)

min dmg 14.2 8so 14.15) = 34.512%

agility 65 1/3
aim 2501
ird 2611
mms 4368
rda 3988
wh 3400
anat 5095
lwt 6166

hg/rifle skill does not have any effect on min dmg. i chipped out some ~1.2k rifle and didnt loose any min dmg on mk2, also it appears i have around the same min dmg % on hg and rifle, with rifle at 3.3k and hg at 4.3k now

gl with your project, time to horde some cheap lwt and anat :)

lol sry mistyped it from my paper sketch...had 64 2/3 agil on the first min dmg increase :)

I chipped Marksmanship yesterday and got min damage increase, it was a full chip and my original MMS was at 4745. More than that I can't say, wasn't really chippping for min damage tbh :laugh:

I heard RDA is best for mindamage. If you dont have wounding and killstrike that is. But what is cheapest also depends on your current skills. Adding a full RDA chip when you just unlocked it will have much bigger impact then when you already have high RDA.

I unlocked serendipity a couple of days ago, using laser carbines.
I had about 4100 rifle and 4500 LWT (been using laser HG too), all natural.
HA on MKII turned to 3,0 last weekend.

I wanted to try a BLP rifle but my BLP WT was 0 and my BLP rifle HA was only 2,4.

I chipped one full BLP WT last night to lvl 1881 and BLP rifle HA moved from 2,4 to 2,6.
I didn't see any changes other than the HA gain and pro standing change of order.

On the back of that I'm assuming that by putting in another 5 BLP chips I'll goto about 4k BLP WT and hopefully have a HA of 2,9-3,0 on BLP rifle.
That's the plan, better get the wallet out again....

I'll post once I've done it.

ok lets check those numbers with my skills from page 1...

anatomy increased by 80 makes +0.0444%
rda increased by 118 makes +0.0472%
lwt increased by 167 makes +0.1044%
SUM +0.196%

on ep40 (41max) from 14.05 to 14.15 min dmg means from 34.268% to 34.512%. this is an increase of 0.244%, so 0.048% are left for ird (and other skills, dont have wounding yet). if ird is the only left over skill for my min dmg, then one level ird brings 0.0585% making it 2nd most important before wounding. in the quoted post kyl unlocked wounding via serendipty gain, unfortunately i dont have stats written down for that skill versus min dmg...will do from now on too.

hope i got it right and displayed in a way to understand :)

I just did a calc on what the cheapest way to gain min damage is by chipping with my current skills. I took IRD as 1% each 2k. I let out the effect of skill slowdown as it increases. So its just an image of the effect on my current skills

Skills are:

IRD:2981
RDA:4408
ANA:5486
LWT:6142

After adding a full chip it would be:

IRD:3358 (+377)
RDA:4525 (+117)
ANA:5550 (+64)
LWT:6222 (+80)

This makes in % the following gains:

IRD: 377/2000=0.189%
RDA: 117/2500=0.047%
ANA: 64/1800=0.036%
LWT: 80/1600=0.050%

Taking avarage PEauction prices, gaining 1% will cost me:

IRD : 500/0.189 = 2645PED
RDA: 300/0.047 = 6383PED
ANA: 120/0.036 = 3333PED
LWT: 125/0.050 = 2500PED

So conclusion is, LWT would be cheapest to chip. Drawback is that its only for one type. Since I also use BLP somtimes, I think IRD would be the way to go at my current levels, IF the 1% per 2000lvl is correct.

ooh that will make IRD have less influence then. Anyone knows how much level of IRD gains 1%? (and maybe also MMS and seren and KS)

BTW, mms is new to me, i thought it was just HA.

nice Stryker, do you have any observations about how mutch MMS and Serendipity effect it?
 
Serendipity is a booster skill in min damage; Ive noticed it doesnt give nearly as much as any of the predecessors

Is JimmyB or Kyl doing the stat work on damage? If so, I can provide my damage and skill in order to help out

Edit: Swede Ive not chipped MMS nearly enough to be able to give an accurate ballpark as to how well it affects our damage
 
When I substract all known skills influence % from my mindamage I am left with 1.34% which must be devided over: IRD, MMS and seren.

My skills are:

IRD:2981
MMS:4754
Seren:2886

I would say that MMS is pretty much neglectable, maybe 1% every 15k orso. Example: If IRD would be 3k for 1%, there is about 0.34% left for MMS and seren. .3 to mms and .04 to seren? Makes it 1% for every ~16000 MMS and ehm ~72000 seren o_O

Either way, one of these skills has such little influence that its not worth mentioning.

I'm off work ill for the next couple of weeks or so and I haven't got any decent software at home. So no, not me at the moment - but I'll be happy to start when I get back to work! I think it should be easier than the HA calculation actually.

MMS 0.0003569 (~2800)
LWT 0.0007204 (~1400)

IRD 0.0001643 (~6000)
RDA 0.0002970 (~3400)

And without MMS:

LWT 0.0007351 (~1360)
Ana 0.0005284 (~1900)
IRD 0.0004928 (~2000)
RDA 0.0002396 (~4200)

I am pretty much a matlab noob, so maybe I did it wrong. If I did it correct the results tell me somthing is missing. The results with MMS seems most off from peoples experiences. So my bet is there is another skill, maybe weapon handling?

Also I think Serendipity is now thought to be in the mix too....

The results are gains in % per level. In the brackets is the approx skill needed to gain 1%. (simply 1/result). And the B matrix is the mindamage percentage minus 25% (that is what you start with).

I will try to obtain more accurate data. I will ask some socmembers tonight for their skills inc seren and WH.
 
Ahh this is intressting too see, Im looking forward to further results.
 
it's my opinion, after chipping lots of skills in and out, that (laser rifle) lwt and rifle will both help (one more than the other though) and the obvious, RDA, IRD will probably have a pretty big effect. should have paid attention last time i chipped out becuase i could have had alot of hardcore answers and stats for these posts about min. dmg, which i see all the time.

rifle will make no difference whatsoever. Look at your min damage on a laser rifle and your min damage on a laser handgun. They are the same regardless of your rifle and handgun skills.
