A Little Horsing Around!!

After taking care of our business at CND, Moonie and I went back to the planet to take on a few more Feffs, but they weren't paying as well this time, so we decided to explore the new country on Amethera and opted to "Get Chilly Wit It" in the snow.

There's been a heat wave on the planet and we just wanted to cool off a bit. I even got brave and stripped down to something more comfortable and unencumbering but Moonie said the snow would start melting ... I'd say he's a little bias, wouldn't you?

Anyway ... it was going well until all of a sudden I was approached by an Equus Guardian who became rather playful. I'm known for having MOB chats at CND so I thought I would try it out and see if the MOBs on the planet are as friendly as they are at CND.

I think that MA had thoughts about introducing other MOBs that we could tame, or even ride, so I took a risk to see if I might engage this horse into a little country exploration.

When I asked if he would take me for a ride around the countryside he wasn't havin' it, and even started nudging me in a very aggressive way, so I of course had to take matters into my own hands. Moonie asked if I needed any help and I said no, just stand by in case but I'll handle this one. I promptly took out my whip and cracked a good one.



Well, needless to say, he wasn't havin' any of that either and made an attempt to bite my head off.



I pulled myself out of his grip and said ... LOOK you, that is NOT fair play, and if you want to horse around, then you just can't be biting people's HEADS off. I guess he could tell I was rather annoyed with his foul play and tried to make amends by hugging me.



I said ok, a hug is NICE but I want to go for a ride so let me jump up there and let's go. Well, again he wasn't having it and moved away when I attempted to get on his back. I was totally getting annoyed now so cracked the whip again and told him to stop fooling around.



We found ourselves face-to-face in a standoff, just like the OK corral, but who was going to make the first move.

It didn't take long before he made his move and reared up on his hind legs. I knew I had to break the attack and stable myself in order not to lose control, so I readied my whip and planted my stilettos firmly in the crispy snow.



He got the business end of the whip over and over as I remained focused. If he wasn't going to let me ride him, then I was going to do my best to either tame him, or take his ass out.



I was doing splendidly while Moonie stood by watching, and I'm sure enjoying the show, but all of a sudden my stilettos gave way and I fell forward. I heard Moonie's weapon and watched the Equus walk toward him. All I could do was yell out to Moonie to not shoot bcuz I'm sure he thought the horse had knocked me down, but I was too late.



There wasn't much lifeline left, so the horse went down rather quickly. When I got back up and brushed the snow off my now chilled body, I could see that the horse gave up 6.60 ped, so it wasn't a TOTAL loss. Moonie sweetly reminded me that MA hasn't included the Equus as a MOB to be tamed yet. Well, there was no harm in trying, and at least I found out that this particular MOB isn't too amenable to chatting, but rather engaging in horsing around instead. Hmmm ... this might be a good MOB to train for a show in the new CND sports arena that will be coming in the future, much like the Lippizan Stallions. *Thinking, thinking, thinking!*

Perhaps I'll try another MOB next time and see what I can come up with. Anything is possible as long as you're willing to try.
