In true aussie spirit I'm thinking we just turn up hoping someone has organized something and end up just all tuning into ... Yes! some boganistic online radio stream! :)

Ya Australia day means to me and many other Aussies getting very much intoxicated, and it will probly start before mid day. Sooo 9pm I dont even know where ill be, ill try and remember to stop on by but ill be playing cricket, having a bbq, and drinking till I wake up the next morning wondering what happened.

As for Boganistic music, you cant go past Cold Chisel (wheres me flannelette shirt and black trackie duds...)

Absolutely.

I have seen TISM live some years back now.

Even managed to lean up on stage, karate chop the bassist behind the knees and knock him into the crowd below... :D

HAHAHAHA that's the funniest thing i've heard today. Those guys rock live, seen em a few times, and a couple of them have kids who go to my mum's school (she's a teacher). Last time I saw them was great until Ron 'Hitler' Barassi came on stage wearing nothing but his mask and started reading propaganda from what appeared to be a 'Mao's little red book' of sorts :laugh:

Tough act to follow.

Well done JD. I will be there. Echo did such a great job with this event last year its a hard one to follow up. So your play it as it happens approach is great i think. Some things we did (i think u were there??) were:

And beacon to end the thing. (i missed that one.)

But will be there for sure. I'm on DST so 11pm is great. kids in bed.

JD, i definitely have a A102 to give. I'll fully repair it. So if you can think of a noob comp and we get some noobs(or ppl who wanna act noob and win a A102 hehe) we can hand it out. Its kinda handy for those moving from opalo to breers. Maybe comp can be form a noob team. Have a start line and then run. First to get killed by hog wins it. hehe. Be funny to watch. Hell i'll run for fun.

Well, Im not aussi, half my family is so that counts some I hope.

I also travelled around Oz a few years ago, spent alot of time in the Railway bar + others listening to live music, also dancing in Cheeky Monkeys in Byron Bay.

Oh yes, i also lived in a Hindu Temple for a while, up in the hills out side Byron bay above the place where they hold the Blues festival...

Next time any ones in Byron Bay look out for a little Red 2 seater Hillman imp car, I use to drive jameria round in it Naked (she looks like Diana Ross) - see the ice cream palor on the main street for her picture.. She is also annually seen dressed to the Hills in Sydney Drag fesivals.. (however she is a lady)

I never made it to Nin Bin, for those that know the place, there was no need:ahh:

As for Music,,, well Nick Cave is a star... My favorite, but maybe a little dark for a party - apart from - 'What a wonderful world' - sang with Shane McGowan - Maybe that would be fitting for an ending type track for the party, if it ever ends..:eek: http://moosic01.com
