I'm sure this has been talked about before but i just wanted to ask the community. Should we not be able to drop our mentors if they are never in game and never help us. I got my mentor a couple of weeks ago and i have not see him/her ingame since.
My mentor is doing nothing for me and once i get to 'graduate' from my mentor he/she gets an item(somone told me not sure if this is true). I really don't want them to get anything for me working hard on leveling, if my mentor has done nothing to help. I would love a different mentor that would help me and teach me a bit more about the game and its ins and outs.

Thanks,
/Sir Runt

The only thing is to contact MA support and tell them your story and perhaps they can help you.

I am sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to the crap mentor plague that lives within PE. Almost everyday I get into arguments with the campers in PA and other cities that I know are doing this stuff. Then the newbies join in thinking they should show loyalty to thier new mentor :/

Like the above suggestion says, ask MA support to remove him/her. Feel free to PM me the name so I can say hello next time I see them. I wish you the best of luck

:)

I think we should go further and start a hall of shame for mentors, just like the scammer thread here, would be a good place for n00bs to check before accepting mentor invites!

Cheers for the replys guys/gals, i'll submit a support case as well.
Thanks,

The past couple of days I have been helping out loads of newcommers who have Mentors but have had no help from them yet and I am having to show them the ropes now I dont mind helping people but it does annoy me having to help other peoples disciples when their mentors should have already shown them the ropes.
Im doing the work they are getting the items, So in my opinion YES we should be able to get rid of our mentors or have larger amount of time in which to choose

no because there are a lot of newbs that would abuse this. Some thing a bad mentor is one that is not online 24/7 or doesn't give them items.

What i think would help this and be good is Offline Messaging being introduced. i know myself i find it VERY useful that as soon as i add them as disciple i tell them that they can PM me here on EF if they have ?'s when i'm not online. but having something built into PE would be much better.

So moral of the story find a mentor that is willing to corespond Offline too.

thats true BUT if more than 3 ppl say the same things about 1 person I'd say they should be logged somewhere.

unfortently in this community if i made just 1 Post that Kygon scammed me. People would trust you less no matter what others said....

i think realy what i'd like also is disciples can kick or be disciples until 10-15%

well - excactly this is why I created The School of Lootius. Because the sad thing is, that what you tell us is the story of many newbies who have been abandoned by their mentors.

To prevent times, were our disciple might not be able to contact their mentors in The School of Lootius because they are not online or are too busy at that moment, we try and make the disciple to join the society during his/hers discipleship. In that way there will always be a mentor available. If everything wents well - and fortunately thats the case most of the time - the disciple will continue as a fully accepted member after graduation.

This really does help the disciples a lot and give them safety to be sure they get the advice they need to graduation. I have seen other societies which - like Church of Lootius - invite their disciples into their society.

I will not repeat myself, but advice you to follow the link above in my signature and read more about The School of Lootius. You are most welcome to pm me, if you find it interesting or have further questions.

No matter what you do - good luck and Lootius blessings on your way!

;)

Pfe i hate scammers
Mentors should always be online when the atopt a noob cause they always need help. But it can get annoying if they are too curiuos and ask questions every minute and all week
I've even seen a guy who's mentor didnt just leave him without help but even took his 200 ped :wise:
