Question: After ghost, phantom? boar?

I think I'm starting to see a trend here.

I actually did go from ghost to gremlin, and I to have never regretted it. i've gone out with an other team mate Him in ghost+5b and I in Gremlin+5b. fighting side by side on Furors they held up about the same. The difference came on the Repair Bill... +28ped more for the ghost over the Gremlin.

Get out your Blade and go skilling... It's all about evade.

I've done a ton of research on this, and basically if you are going to spend 5k peds, you'd better get a substantial increase in protection. The next step up from ghost is ghoul or phantom. Both of them add about 5-10 points to close combat, maybe 5-10 points ranged/elemental.

Is that 5k worth it?

Imho, the answer is clearly no. If you are going to shell out a hefty sum, the armor better do more than just allow you to fap a few times less on exactly the same mobs you did before.

To take you to the next level, jag would be the minimum (at about 3k more than phantom), but even that is minimal. Angel increases defense by 50% over ghost (64 to 90-ish.)
