Where I'm at now..
Track everything you do with spreadsheet.
Bankroll.
Cut all costs including the actual killcost(dmg cost to kill a mob not armor).
High-protection-armor only on slow hitting, high dmg, high regen mobs with MU to cover defence costs.
I never experienced minimum loot increase from a mob by killing it in a more expensive way.
Better grind a mob with good returns (incl MU) then grind a mission mob you lose on. You gain skills anyways.
Profits I invest, test new things and making sure I'm having fun while I do it, but don't risk it all.
Equipment, try test it (if possible from a friend maybe?) before buying.
