It's just occurred to me that with a hyphen in the right place his name would sound like a type of Ore finder.:laugh:
 
I'd love to see Mr. T doing EU commercials...

I think celebrities woudl rather have sex schandals than playing EU .

very simple reason -> try impress an outsider with " hi I am an uber lvl 100 in Entropia Universe, or I earn 10 ped a day by gathering sweat and resell sweat! "

eh.... Celebrities wont even look at EU. If they play MMORPG , they will play WOW, ask Mr T lol

That's just wishful thinking. So what if they were anyway. Having said that I read somewhere or saw on tv somewhere how this one pornstar played video games. She confessed she was a bit of a geek, can't remember who it was or where i saw that.

I think if a celebrity (or at least a super-rich celebrity) got addicted to EU it could make things interesting. A sudden super inflation of the top end items could happen as they seek instant-uberness in game to go with the uberness they possess IRL.

So on balance, I'd say there probably aren't any. At least there aren't any that see EU as that big a deal to them.

Hasn't that already happened?

I don't seem to recall his name but a famous american baseball player poured money into EU for a while, buying loads of überly overpriced items on what seemed to be a whim, just to sell them after barely having used them, cheaper than he brought them for.

He also had a own video competition going, in witch he offered 10kPed in price money.
 
Once the new planets arrive and hollywood planets are online I think we'll see more celebs in EU.

Wonder if they'll enjoy playing anonymously as "normal" players or as celebs. I guess we'll see a mix.

I was getting 'hounded' for my autograph at an eu meet, does that count!? :D

Beating em off with a stick I was, it got that bad I tried hiding in a Harp Case, 'BBC Philharmonic Orchestra' one no less, I have witnesses!!!!
