Login Problems - BEWARE - Don't keep using your gold card!

knowing nothing about code, who wants to bet it starts working in 40 minutes when the new day hits...

I'll say this much, answering a support case at 11pm on 1st January giving 3 possible solutions, kudos to you Ulf or Hank :thumbup: (a guess)

Option a) for me then b) & c) dont appeal.

Thanks for the info antonioliveria, I didn't raise a support case because I thought all gold card users had been knocked out not just a minority of them.

Sent them my last 2 codes on my GC and they deactivated it from my acct allowing Entropia Pocket to be used. Working like a charm now.
 
Sounds alot like an internal scam to me - don't forget the update awhile back when you "allowed" EU past your virus checker. Get ready for a possible heist. And, yes this is what happens when you lose trust, MA.

I msged MA support to cancel the gold card temporarily (inc 2 gov picture ids). They responded in a few hours and cancelled it for me.

Will reactivate the gold card later

I am going to second this. I am not going to go buy a smartphone just to log in. If anything this has shown me how addicted I am as I have checked this forum every 30 min for the last 10-12 hours hoping to get the chance to play with my new Justy that I spent a stupid amount of money on for an upgrade.

Due to MA doing what all good Socialists do (go on vacation and ignore their responsibilities), I have saved $5,000 USD.

I depo that amount every Jan 1, and have done so for the past 10 years.

This is a better return on my investment than Google, Intel or Microsoft made me this past year.

So if the servers come up today, you won't deposit? It HAS to be 1:st January for you to be able to deposit?

You do realize that this gold card (something MA is trying to phase out) problem is external to Mindark right and they have had someone at Mindark answering support cases today?

Yes someone is at support and no one at the servers. This is no big issue. The only issue is a server needs to be rebooted yet no one is in office to reboot it. Of course we could also say that MA was in on New Years programming and messed up and all hell hit the roof. Now. Which one would you say it is? I'm going for server reboot myself.

FYI, if anyone WAS in office, you know they would try a server reboot just to see if that did fix the problem. has the servers been rebooted yet?

And why would that be? Lets see a service crashes on the server. (we don't know how they have it setup for each given card type, most likely sounds like a service for each type (Gold/Black/app). Key here is the error message. It's unable to access what ever program should be running to validate the card number. So tell me where I could be wrong? Did they try a reboot yet? If the answer is yes, then ok, they are in office trying to figure out what is going on. If no, then they are out of office with support most likely having a direct link from home getting all pissed off that he's being over worked.

And no, I'm not stoned. I'm having withdraws all while waiting for my latest video to render damn you! :)

Whether the current problem is within MA systems or external. Dealing in a product which is most used by customers during their holidays and insisting on taking the same holidays off for tradition or whatever is just asking for trouble. Companies like Amazon increase their capacity during such times, not decrease it.
