We now need a new society in PE, one based on mafia type structure to run the new casino’s. Soc structure might be – Don, first lieutenant, goon, heavies, runners, corrupt MA officials, strippers, hookers, dealers and of course the existing pimps. :cool:

Did your mother never tell you – pot and gambling don’t mix… unless of course everyone playing is smoking… You forget the rules of the game half way through a hand, and your hamster will run away and hide when the pressure is on for you to bet/fold.. :D
 
Next i want to see a lootable dealer totally possible a NPC kinda like a shopkeeper that would run the mini game.

I was thinking crap MA can't do that cause that would make it totally gambling but then i thought if MA makes a "fee" of say 5 PED per player to pay as you know "decay" to the deeler and every gets 50 "play chips" and well the players can decided what happens outside of the realm of the deeler ;)

Maybe, but poker play for money is illigal in Sweden.. except in one of the very few casinos (one, two, I dunno?). Even if they moved the whole PE-buisness out of Sweden they would still have the problem of people wanting to cash out their poker winnings, inside PE they are nothing but as soon as they try to get the money some one is going to say "hold it, we want some taxes here".

I'm amazed there are no taxes to withdraw from PE allready, unless it's been classed as a "skill"-game and not a "luck"-game, poker is(still, ppl are trying to change it as far as I know) a "luck"-game and when swedes want to cash out such online winnings they risk taking a heavy blow from taxes..

Is it taxes to withdraw from PE, depend of your local country tax policies.

Simple solution is to just not play for money, everyone starts off with equal amount of chips and just play for fun :)

but you can't drop things in other people's apartments/estates, so how do you play? :confused:

They should release some furniture bongs, otherwise I keep getting stuck with too much dung :laugh:

First- wow! Sweet find some1 has there! Does any1 know if it has been purcahsed yet?

Second- As konve stated, an ingame poker would raise legality issues that MA probably does not want. And as Nerishimo suggested, a free poker game played only for fun might be best...

What if the poker game wasn't entirely for free or for cash however? Hmmm... perhaps you bet chips, and the chips can be used in game for certain things that would have no monetary value irl? This would be totally new, but if MA is to introduce poker perhaps they plan on introducing other games. You win chips which entitle you to game skills perhaps :confused: (which could not be used on skill chips btw :silly2: ). there could also be game hoffing ;)

Lastly- Crown Royale on the rocks for the lady...

Yeah.. I think would def be some legal issues. The thing is i really dont see how they could put poker in a NOT have it playing for money. Since everything in the game has to do with money it would all be considered playing for money.

Unless they gave out as many chips as you wanted, free of charge, it will always be gambling. So i just dont see how they can get around this. Plus if i wanna play poker there are 9 million sites online that are free or pay depending on the mood i am in. I wanna kill trox and stuff. Not gamble! ;)

Yes on the first- an ingame gaming system would be completely different from any other aspect of game given the fact that it could not be played for rl cash.

But secondly, I'm thinking this could be what has been often talked about previously-- having the ability to play mini games within the game. Hmmm- I don't know, but here's where my brain is going and any1 let me know if this would not be plausible (and I'm trying to think of something here b/c it is highly doubtful imo that MA would introduce a poker table and NOT have plans to utilize it eventually :D )...

I'm thinking, you decide to play a poker game (or any mini game that may arise in game). Perhaps you have to pay a small ped fee or perhaps not. Every1 that begins gets the same number of chips of course and every1 is on equal ground. At the end, assuming you have more chips you cannot redeem them in tt or for any kind of cash value. But perhaps you can redeem them for more mini games??? Or perhaps if you win you get nothing but your name in lights :girl:
 
maybe "game chips" could be looted but have no TT value like sweat fruit and dung, but people will still pay for them. That way for legality, people are playing for "free" and winnings and losses are TT equal to zero even tho the market stipulates otherwise
 
If you had chips that weren't worth anything to play with you can still play how you play with your friends. You have a buy in where someone holds all the cash and they everyone gets their chips to play with, winner gets all or you split the money with who ever has chips left.
