LOL in over 7,000 posts on EF the only warning I got was from MS9 back in her moderating days, when I suggested I was going to travel to Newfoundland and find the guys who scammed us from looking them up in the phone book:)

They started to cleaning up their forums, which is a good thing i think as especially some of their subforums really were nothing but flames and troll hangouts.
One of their new rules of conduct that might explain your warnings/tempban is:

1) If you are attacked in any way, whether it be called a troll, a fanboy, or there is a user attempting to bait you into fighting back by posting something that clearly serves no purpose other than to get under your skin, simply report their post and move on.

Retaliating against users in violation of our Rules of Conduct will result in an infraction against your account as well as the user in question when reported. If the reported post or thread has not been dealt with within 24-48 hours, contact me at community@mmorpg.com so I can investigate the matter personally.

The reason we issue infractions for simply "defending yourself" is the fact that defending yourself can result in the derailment of a potentially constructive thread into a back and forth between two or more posters, or worse, start a flame war.

Hmm when they get a rule saying "No telling people not to play a certain game due to their personal feelings over their failure to get the point of it" I might go back.

Bah nothing to read there:

1) EU as a agme is one darn expencive one
2) EU as a casino is darn nice one

As of ND:
I know many of u like NEVERDIE - but face it he is basically full of shit on many occasions. Yet many ppl hapilly eat those for some reason while they should be laughing. Hes the guy who put everything he owned on "black 13" and it actually hit. Other then that - plz refrain yourself from commenting.

I really couldnt care less for negreps I get for speaking my mind but Im tired of ppl gloryfying that guy like he was one of the kind prophet or stuff.

Well it was a bit more than pure luck.
Also ND is a hard working man with a vision, quite some people glorify him a lot though.

I think its not wrong to respect him for what he did achieve, but idolizing someone is always wrong imo.
Its not good for the people being idols, as there is no way they can keep up to the expectations and its not good for the fans who should concentrate on living their own lives.

What would you do when your love dies? I think he made something positive out of it.
My father got fired when he was 50 at Philips (and yes he was in the dev-team that brought you the cd-player) . From the social welfare point of view he had to sell his house and eat up his money that he got from it.
He did something else, he bought 10 bungalows in Thailand, and a mobilhome in Holland and in the winters he went to Thailand to collect the money from the bungalows, and in summer he simply stayed in Holland..
He dared to take a chance.. as did Neverdie. Sure it could have failed. But to take a chance is to live...

Yes your point of view is realistic, but I was talking about the crazy fans.
As ND wants to achieve celebrity status its somewhat moot to debate about it tho, as with this decision he will get the fans as well as the haters... not to forget the stalkers...
I'd never want to become a celebrity *shudder*

I was of the understanding that only EU players, a select few MMO journalists and avid readers of the good book of Guiness, had any idea who he was....
I sure haven't met anyone, ever, anywhere (irl or vl) that's heard of him, outside of EU.

You make it sound like someone actually idolizes him... really? Who?

I guess hes a pretty famous game promoter in EU :D Where he's labeled as a singer. :eyecrazy:
 
What's the use of disputing there? Expecting them to give in and and say "yes you're right, although I lost money it's the greatest game ever" ?

People who play and stay will be on this forum, mpog users have the full right to discuss and break down this game platform, they are more objective users, who in many cases have had bad experiences and is some cases they do have valid points (a trip to a beta planet is $8, counting trips one way ... I mean c'mon.). Any decent platform would welcome an outside view and possibly tweak their platform. If MA/FPC don't care about that, it's their bussiness, it is not the responsibility of any user nor mod to do interforum advertising.
