How is swimming half the map, and if not that, running into mobs to get free skills not against the eula?

Then reviving and redoing it. How is that mechanical? Complex installation to press Y, Q or whatever keys you need to revive and run again?

He was intent on heading north, but the pesky mobs kept killing him, but still he tried. I decided to help him find his way. Killing all that would do harm, I escorted him to the north shore, to bid bon voyage on his journey. I know he was thankful, but his silent demeanor prevented any response. Good luck to you Scott, I know you will find what you seek on the horizon.

As a community, we should all be on the lookout for such lost souls, and help them find their way. I, for one, feel better for having helped Scott along the pathway to happiness. Have a good swim, silent Sir!

Loki was an Ex NBK...he was complaining about "cheaters" "botters" whatever u all classify them as...

and my 2pecs...allow Sion to deal with this as he sees fit as he is the NBK leader now. He will investigate and will do what he sees is neccessary to maintain NBK's integrity and honor.

I have played EU for a while now. From day one I have met bot users and I got confused. In my orange pyjama, freshly arrived at Camp Phoenix and trying to sweat along with the gang, I often got killed and revived. Everytime there was someone that healed me almost instantly and everytime I would say "thank you" even if I didnt expect a response back. Someone told me they were actually using autoclickers so I stopped being confused. Nobody had anything against them using those because they were useful for us. Since day one I met so many bot users that I find hard to remember them all or to mention them here. So here is my :
1. MA will not ban bot users for the simple reason that they invest big amounts of money into the game. It takes a lot of money to be able to do that in any field: crafting, mindforce etc.
2. Scott was the one being bashed here because he used a "cheap" way of skilling up. (when I say cheap, I mean not really paying anything for it, except the usage of his own PC).
3.When the same thing was brought up by Loki about bot users trying to skill up dodge, everybody here was way more tolerant then now. I wonder why?...
And now I will say something about how the NBK treats its members:
We are not dictators, or the police. If we receive complaints about them, from the inside or outside of our society, then we take action.

My stance on this whole AC/Bot issue is simple.

I feel that this game/service is meant to be played by players actualy playing the game.

I want to be meassured against players that have played the game/service.

I do not want to compete against computer programmes (bots/AC's)

I agree that the Crafting system needs to be looked at with regards the tedium of of long crafting sessions.

But untill then, I wish for a level playing field with all Avatars actaully playing the game.

This means NO systems that enable a player to play without actually being there.

This is the only way to solve the ambiguity of what is accepted and what is not.

MA are quite clear in their EULA, but they do seem to shoot themselves in the foot with their selective enforcement of their rules.

If they do not make the situation ABSOLUTLEY clear by stamping on all instances of Players playing using proccesses and programmes, then they will always be open to abuse.

Please feel free to make of this as you will, call me simple, call me stupid. Bring on the arguments that these systems have been used since day one, and many so called "uber" players have become such because of the use of systems that allowed them to play and exploit the game 24/7.

It will not change the way I feel.

I would have to agree with BlackwomanMagic. I hate to see NBK get some bad rep because one of it's users is doing something bad. The rest of us are hard working and the smaller companies such as the Legion are very honest and hard working. So remember that before you judge the actions of the one, you should judge the actions of the many.

Just thought id put my opinion in here....

Auto clicker....mechanical or not is obviously trying to circumvent the system as it is designed to work.

Any other game and Id shrug it off, but a game with an economy tied to real funds should not allow any form of manipulation.

Its not that they have allowed autoclickers at any point...they have stated otherwise many times. But the issue is proving it for action.

Overall imo its BAD any way you cut it.....you cannot use these things without knowing that you are cheating the system. Anyone with that intent, no matter how little affect it actually has, is a risk.

After awhile people get clever...think to themselves how else can I cheat the system, since this works...and worse happens.

Sad and discouraging to see these in action....Skills are worth money....we all should have equality when gaining them in my opinion, otherwise...the majority is getting cheated out of that portion of the economy, while they stand back and pull the gains out.

Not sure what could fix it for sure...maybee random popups when repetitive things are done using only a few keys after set time. If at the keyboard...its not an issue...if not...record it and boot em...then they have patterns they can take action on.

I wish him the best of luck in his endevors.

It against my better judgement to type this but I'm going to anyway..

I ran the same route this individual did basically doing the same things he did for 1 hour straight.. I saw many others out there doing the same thing but no camara crew following them. And during that time I gained 1 skill point of Athetics and 1 skill point of dodge. We see people auto-healing and auto-focusing all the time but think nothing of it.. I don't see any reports of them in here because we are getting something out it. Human nature tries to see evil sometimes where there is none. This guy was trying to compete with all the Ubers out there that do this all the time. And he got crucified for it. How about dropping this and letting it go. You got your pound of flesh for all the harm he has caused. Is that not enough?
