While shooting something out in the woods it may seem very logical - the System is watching me! It's tracking my ammo, it's making notes every time i visit the TT... er, hold on for a sec, think clearly
What are we actually assuming here? That MA pays for the programmers to build an intricate subsystem into their software just to keep track of every hunters ammo balance?
Hell no! The system can't care less how much ammo every hunter carries around, there is no ammo-tarcker (sub)System - besides us ourselves, nobody and nothing keeps track of this.
The only reason why old experienced hunters advise not to make short runs is the sample size - when you shoot
one mob and it's a no-looter you can't make a conclusion: my returns are zero. You need a reasonably large sample to find out whats the average loot.
That's why the advice to make longer runs, that's all there is, everything else is only a superstition.
