I have an idea about how the new system could be done. Basically it's an extension adding depth to the number spiral. It's very easy to do and would depend on the user's mining tools. I am currently not playing as there is an issue with my credit card that hopefully Mindark will sort out soon.

If you are interested I can send you some information about the new theory...
