Biscuits are good, I got some white chocolate cookies here. And i got some maple and pecan danish slice thing in the kitchen and a cinnamon whirl, but they're for breakfast!

So, the oldies are all on one side of the fence. And the lighties on the other.

But this is generally considered a good thing thing for the oldies, as we have all the biscuits on our side of the fence

Interesting post.

As I am old I have had many young people working for me and as aquaintenances too. Some of them who rubbished oldies when young are now themselves old. I laugh at their changed attitudes as I remember some of them 30yrs back.

For you oldies out there
Try never to forget how u thought when u were young it helps keep u young

and u youngies
Remember before u know it u will be old, and as someone said "we will rule"
Of course u will rule but when u grow up and are old as well .

I think eu has help me feel younger and on the whole considering the amount of people on eu it is a pretty amicable place where there is a larger mix of young and old than in real life

Happy New Year one and all - young and old.

As a retired person (age 65) I have lots of time to spend in Planet Calypso, a modest pension that allows me to deposit, and a desire to keep my mind active and continue to learn. My memory is not as sharp as it was earlier in life (so I rely on Entropedia) and my reactions are not as quick (so there are some team hunts I avoid). There are some fine people in this virtual world we inhabit and age is not the defining factor. Integrity, respect, courtesy, and a positive attitude are far more important than the date on the birth certificate.

Wishing all good health, peace and prosperity during the new year.

Your post put a smile on my face and I value what you said about virtual world environment. I also equate virtual world to any online environment. Games transcend gender, age, class, etc. It doesn't matter. What matters is how you conduct yourself regardless of you are.

I think the word is honor.

For the record: "old" is a state of mind, age is just nature.

So with that said I get a bit worried over all "old 30-something" people in this thread.
As for the "kids" harassig you oldies, as long as you bother about what they might have to say, you're not old!
When seniority really kicks in you have other, more important things to worry about. Like finding your bed, remember the url to this forum etc
