Confused old new player

There are many ways to Rome. The rocktropia idea is fine if you want to play at that level forever but for most players it gets pretty boring after an hour or two and with the income lower than the power cost to power your computer it doesn’t make sense.

Monria can work since you can TP back but all this space nonsense ruins it for players on low budget since the cost of traveling will kill your profit margin and be an added cost of gameplay. For people with big bankroll it does open some opportunities like I said but for the masses space only sucks and is an added cost.

Other planets can work but you have to be targeted, and use one of shuttle warp services to sell at caly.
Way i look at it is 10 ped shuttle(warp) is 1% for 1k ped tt loot, 0.5% for 2k tt loot etc. So not so deep pockets needed really, just don't transport with like 100 ped loot.
I'll edit post i suggested space mobs, as old player returning figured might have skills enough that is option with enough turnover.
Anyways as long as OP has fun doing what he chooses we all find our own way :)

Oh and welcome back Galer :)

check EUwiki for loot tables and possible mu, then see of enough to cover the house rake with best eff/dpp you have.
This is exactly what I am doing :) but I am looking for mobs with less loot variance than Jori. So mobs that drop one or two items with some MU besides shrapnel.
With Jori after burning my peds on hunt I would probably end with lots of items in small quantities so more difficult to sell.
When there is less possible items in mob menu then it's bigger chance to end up with bigger pile of one type (I assume :) )

Well this is case with mobs wherever you go, most is dirge and shrap with some nugget of mark up.
Was always the case though with hunting, mining mark up on whatever you find but mark up not as good as back then. Back 15 years ago mining mark ups were propped up by amp clickers demand, now they mostly click EP4 (nanocubes).

Things are as they are, guess could call it progress. Hope you find something that works for you.:)

find 3-5 friends and a clan where you can hunt with barbarella for small bosses in the form of a daikiba or a cave of hints, or better cut down trees) give a quick increase in rare skills with a good markup, but it's boring) you need to listen to either an audio book or listen to other streams of old videos.

Hi.

I try to return to this game again after 15 years but I'm confused on game state really.
I don't expect of course the same game but economy and items seems like the shadow od what it used to be.
A lot of things like armors simply don't drop anymore and most of items are gone. Things that were common are now super rare or don't exist at all.

I wanted to start with some small, basic hunt. I was looking for mobs to kill and I remember Snableshots. I even found some old blog post ( http://entropia-universe-mmorpg.blogspot.com/2011/05/hunting-snablesnot-with-isis-cb5-l-at.html?m=1 hope it's not breaking any rules to paste it here) and just look at possible loot there. Pixies, Goblin armors, some chips etc. but when I went to Wiki to check, now it's just shrapnels and some hide.
It's very similar for other mobs too..

I don't expect to really earn money on that game. That was never target for me because I just treat it like casino but in casino you always have this feeling that there is tiny chance that you will hit something unusual and bigger. And that was a case in old times for EU also.
Now I checked several mobs, beginner and more advanced and most of them just drops shrapnels and some items you can sell with small MU but that's all.
Not sure if this is really the scenario now (I think this is main question of this topic) but honestly this made me wonder if I want to go back to game.
If all that there is for new player is to hunt mobs with expected outcome of 95% and struggling with break even with MU then the main thrill is gone for me.
Please say I'm wrong.

Buy the starter package with the z12- barbaralla i recomend the 75$ one but you can buy any you see fit you will have enough money to cyrcle for a month thats prety much sufficienent for a beginer unlike the old days with 1.0 you wont go broke doing it

I would suggest pretty much starting at the beginning and get a feel for all the changes. Newbies don't walk off a ship into PA any more. MA made a separate area with newbie tutorials/missions for different professions. You can get there from camp Icarus I believe. A ship near the water gets you there. You'll plow through it, but will give a bit of base perspective. Eudora is very different now. Old favorite hunting spots are gone. After doing the newbie area, check the missions for tokens in Twin Peaks. There are also daily missions scattered about for tokens. Check the Wiki for missions. The NPCs and terminals are close to the tp.

Check the codex. Lots of skill bonuses in the codex. If you come to RT, do the hunt the thing mission. It's quite easy and you get a free helicopter and a few other items.

We have land deeds now that can provide a small passive income. Right click your ped card to see the exchange. This year, we have items for the 20th anniversary including UL TWEN items. Also dropping are Unreal Tokens which are supposed to become deeds when the Unreal Engine is released. They will provide a 1% share of profits from universe wide income.

There is a lot to learn and relearn. Welcome back!

Hunt the thing has been bugged for years, rest of the advice was good tho :)
