EF Gettogether in RL

LOL- wow... "this city!" "No this one!" "No my city!" lol

Well, ya, if it's in Europe I cannot attend. Even for an American get together it's rather difficult, as our country is a mere 3000 miles across :D

But, to put our two cents in... DD and I live in Seattle. I know three other ppl from our vicinity in game (one of which is Gruye) and a few ppl from Portland (about 4 hrs south). And at least one Alaskan I know that gets down here often. If there are any other ppl that will be in the Pacific Northwest in the next few months, pls let me know and we will see if the regional Northwesterners could get together.

I am originally from the dayton area Ona. So i guess i am SORTA a player from ohio.. Hehe. In PA for work now. Too bad i'm not home or i would sponser a EF party at home home in Clearwater Florida. Would be a nice vacation for some and the beach and beachbars are but 10 mins away.

Oh well. To all our European friends have fun. Lets talk US party USAers!!

Great idea Suicide. I see this thread may become long and with lots of different suggestion of places and dates. Would you mind starting another thread for a US event? Dont get me wrong, it's just to tidy the thread up a bit.

Once we got things a little clearer I'll start a new "official" thread, until then keep posting what you think will be the best place to be. I must ask you to be realistic and only post large central cities. Should be a major airport hub, so Copenhagen and Amsterdam is perhaps the two foremost contenders.

I still vote for Copenhagen. Gothenborg is not to far of, scandinavians can reach it by train, boat and even cars. Germany, the netherlands is very close. And as some of our friends from UK pointed out. An airplane ticket wont cost to much with a low fare airline.

And everyone that lives near to one of the cities that we meet up in, can put everyone up to help save on costs, especially if it turns into a very large drinking binge. :laugh:

i'd love to go to gotensburg, but ill have a hard time convincing my parents. unless viagrafalls, or someone else dutch that goes there with us is able to help me convince them :)
if its in Holland, it would be way easier, but no way of getting Marco there ..... ARG i hope it turns that i come down to Sweden anyway :)
as long as it is in my vacation i can attend, For example from july 4th till 16th, between then,
or between 1th august till 20 august somewhere

Lets get down do business!

We don't have much time to plan this so we need some fast feedback on time and place. I say Copenhagen the weekend august (19) 20-21 (still only a suggestion). Who's in and who thinks we should change the date? If you suggest another place please state reason and be realistic about it.

I've changed the date as I got a little carried away and threw out a date witch turned up to be the only weekend I can't make it :laugh:

I'll edit the first post with those who say "Aye" ;)

For the moment we set the date to August 20-21 in Copenhagen.

Also post if you're going to drive. Perhaps others may hitch a ride and split the costs.

When I get an idea of how many will come; I'll look into hotels and such.

Tha't'd mean there'd be 4 of us in the car... Perhaps one more would fit :) (Hopefully by then I'll have a new car. Not sure if any of the dutchies have driver's licenses. I'd be unsure of whether I'd make the whole drive by myself, and the missus is not doing too good when it comes to driving standard.

I vote for copenhagen as well, and the date sounds fine. We would be taking the train and no need for hotel since I have family close to copenhagen :)
 
EPS: i would be flying from UK probably with my dad ,,,, any one else flying from UK.

NAKIA: glad to see u and euro are thinking about it would be cool to meet all the faces behind the avatars.
