Once again, exploiting is if you are pretty sure you are doing something sneakily unintended, often combined with a bug of some kind, although not exclusively it seems.
We simply cannot second-guess what possible solutions MA has thought of, including possibly simply using an H-DNA and hoping for the best. It is part of using what you have available, after all, and this IS a puzzle competition!
It also might be MA's full intention to give those a time advantage who ask themselves: "Is it really necessary to kill these mobs anyway or just grab the laptop?"
