Could you please change Auto-Con to something else? In english Con have some negative meaning...
(I assume it's like that ingame, as non crafter i did not look)
 
What about skill pills and clothes or items that give skill gain buffs? Do they work with this auto construction feature or would those skill gains only apply to regular crafting while standing at the terminal?
 
Auto-construction seems interesting, but not necessarily for what we have today, but what might come in the future.
There might be a need for massproduction of something... like advanced ammo. ;)
 
Can we shoot birds while lying down now?
 
With the backlog of bugs they have yet to fix... i dont understand why they added new features that we don't need yet.
Sure the sitting down and stuff is something alot of players requested for years cause it was bugged in the past and MA did not like the way it looked ( buttslide bug ).

Autocrafting... sure... interesting feature but compared to the ever growing list of bugs that MA does not feel like fixing or what ever the reason may be... did we really need to release these features now instead of fixing the bugs that are driving people nuts as things are?

I'm starting to feel that there is a serius case of ADHD going on or something broken in how things are reported from the forum ( since support is not able to process bug reports as they should ) and then presented to the devs.
 
will skillbuffs on the avatar impact the skillgain of autocrafts on the planet the avatar is on / or all planets / or will autocrafts have no skillbuffs ?
 
Mod Shadow armor looks much better. I like seeing my eyes again and purple-ish highlights. Thank you
 
Wow nice. Even more advantage for botters and macroers. Just really don’t want casuals playing eh?
 
I think I will hold back on using the auto crafting thing , looks like the hamster / hamsters have gone haywire as usual on the update .

there's been a consistent move to remove mu where it can be found. like the blazar frags from the migration mission and then removing it from exasaurs

most of the components could be a source for small mu for low level players because of the time it takes but now that will evaporate completely

lets completely remove the need to rely on other players at all, lol

honestly i see this as an absolute downgrade to the game economy

if they just add auto-mining to the game now there won't be any way to make any mu anymore

But that doesn't exclusively benefit botters does it? You can make the exact same argument that it benefits casual players because they can now hunt and craft at the same time without the need for alt crafting accounts. It really has no impact in botting etc, and you haven't presented an argument to suggest that this change "benefits botters" at the loss of others. It's like saying the change benefits single mothers, because now single mothers can craft and hunt at the same time.
 
or let me say this another way

MU is comprised of essentially only one of two things, a willingness to pay above TT for items that are desirable and which are....

1. Items you cannot obtain, either due to skills/difficulty or because the item simply isn't available otherwise (rare items)
2. Items you could obtain, but don't want to because of the time investment required

Auto-construct is even worse than botting. At least with botting your avatar has to actually be indisposed during the event.

Auto-anything threatens to destroy the only meaningfully accessible source of markup in the game.

Once the markup is all gone there is no difference between this and a casino, where all value is measured in currency and there is no markup.

I have a idea for the next update.

Allow to open EU more as one time on one computer. So a lot of people dont have to use tricks or lets run more as one computer.

That would be a great idea - maybe is not so good like that autocraft update but goes in this way.

It's okay if you don't understand it.

I didn't say it EXCLUSIVELY benefits botters, but anything that benefits a legit player benefits botters exponentially more unless the benfit is "We have actually given a shit about botting".

This continues to go in a direction that I personally am not happy with and will continue to speak with my wallet and my time for this game. As others have done as well.


This also comes at a great time for Mindark where they KNOW we are seeing pre covid lows in cycling. Now this boosts their numbers to look like 2024 wasn't a completely dog shit year.

i will tell you with certainty that if this change results in negative real returns on maxed-out bp's and self-sourced materials, i'll stop crafting.

i would disagreed with the exponentially statement , if i counted correctly then we should be able to run 13 or more autocrafts around the universe allowing to cycle far in excess of anything hunters or miners could cycle and its an ingame feature - if at all it diminishes the impact of macros.

Ah then that must suck for people who die to drill bots due to a faulty macro 24/7.

You’re right it would definitely be diminishing returns.

makes no differences if people die to drillbots or any other mob or just sit around doing nothing but streaming others - all those people can autocraft too
