Fix mayhem instance layout

I had forgotten how terrible halloween mayhem is. Mobs get stuck constantly in tombstones, in the corners of a mausoleum, near the fence or at the central fountain. And our avatars risk getting stuck too.

If this was your attempt at messing with bot abusers it failed years ago, and it's just a pain in the ass for everyone else.

I don't think I ever stuck or seen any stuck mob in Halloween mayhem, but I personally hate this fountain in the middle and these thombs which make it harder to shoot, but I understand maybe these are here to make botters life a bit harder.
 
Ok very funny, but I cant be the only one who's having to constantly move around to avoid the forward slow-walking thing.

I'm not saying mobs become 100% stuck, untargetable or unreachable, its just bad user experience in general.

Do you mean by moving around to avoid shit as in playing the game?

Yes, if you are trying to stay at range it sucks balls :D. Most of the time I'm probably playing another game/watching a movie while pressing f during mayhem, or I'm scratching my eyeballs out.

Basically this forces you to tank a ball of mobs...

Look how Lupine event works MA. Over 9000% effectiveness in generating maximum revenue per hour.
At very least make it possible for mobs to walk through those objects. Lower all tombstones sizes there's medium sized ones and above that cause you NOT to be able to shoot, and makes your avatar run closer, causing you to drag more mobs.
You're literally only hurting yourselves bottom line every year by making no modifications to improve it. The same for Merry Mayhem with that annoying ass BOULDER that gets mobs stuck in it.

Also I'm curious why they have to be SHARED LOOT? If it's solo instance. Maybe it's because of that reduced return that comes from shared loot mobs? I'd love if you turn them non shared, thanks, same goes for all mayhems!
 
I dont get stuck, but the way it's implemented is boring :
  • Mobs, and my avatar, can cross the tombstones -> so they have no hitbox
  • But I can't shoot mobs through them, and have to move -> so they have hitbox (?)

BTW, same issue in Argonauts Cave, with the vines hanging from the ceiling, no way to shoot through them.

Of course, low priority defects, will never be fixed by MA, the fake IA NPCs are more important.
 
All mayhem instances should be changed to raid style instances
 
bunch of amateur interacting afkers....if ur melee ur good, if ur range (over 85m) 202 290, ur welcome, unclick only interact with lock target, locking ignores view, click unlock freelock....and like if ma really wants to make it hard for botter it must be halloween only thing, cuz easter, xmas, and the previous summer mayhem has zero obstructions. Tell us u want us to cycle longer and non stop without telling us, lets introduce some new carbines that can shoot 8+ hours at tier x and lower the eff so we really get them xmas bonues working :D

We need Raid style instances yes, but not mayhem. Raid instances should be added and available all year around. Most MMO games, raids are a bare minimum expectation. Hope we see some and give a group finder interface.

Group finder kills all social interaction and turns people to asshole who leave and que up since why stay with with non min maxed team or whenn one mistake is made and wipe happens. 😅

So big no for that.

It is silent killer of games.
 
I loved the mayhem raids this summer even though it had issues (e.g. nexus stones gave no loot back so they were a ped sink). That's the correct way to improve player engagement, instead of having to avoid random shit in our way.

That was a step in the right direction and I'm happy to say when MA does things right.

Get rid of all the pointless obstacles and introduce some mechanic that rewards people for actively playing.

Raids from level 1 to level 500, solo and team, something that everyone is familiar with. New players will adapt more easily and markup would be accessible for anyone willing to spend time in game.

Yeah, Angel, I’m kinda a noob here with low health, so this layout totally messes me up. When I switch targets, all the mobs clump together in the middle, which means I get hit by everything at once! If you guys could tweak the layout a bit so it’s macro-friendly, that’d be awesome—it would really help people like me survive longer!

Sometimes they spawn inside the buildings. But yes, the fountain at the middle and the tombstones are annoying.
Not for the botters, they probably already forgot about these things it was such long ago they played it manually, it is just bothering the not botters.

My point exactly, and the trees can also be a pain in the ass. There's just so much stuff in the way in this instance...
