Flying tutorial : Bugged Seat

Hi all,

My name is Pink Pussycat panther.
And I am a Pilot.
Since beginning of 2008 there has been a problem with the right gunner seat...and i write this tutorial to help you HUD this seat fast and proper.

step #1 Tag the HUD into a tagbar as seen in image 1

Step #2: Right click the seat to sit down

Step #3: Jump by pressing E when avatar tries to sit down (keep jumping untill avatar is seated)

Step#4: HUD by clicking tagbar as seen in image 2

Step#5 U have been succesfully seated and ready to fly.

This tutorial is for right gunner seat only
Thats the seat in the middle on the right side.

Hope this might help for pilots and passengers in future flights untill it will be fixed.

I had some problems with left seat too. Ahh, no wonder NASA colaborate with another company. I guess they simply could not take a seat!!!

sometimes you jump over the seat and get stuck in the bubble, just jump back.

If u right click you will activate the operate menu.
So it shows sit down on....

But you can also acitvate things with a double left mouse click.
But to not confuse ppl, I always like to use the operating menu.

If you fly alot, I think you get the seat after a few tries.
Read this if you're going to fly.

But I get into the seat another way.

1) Drag the HUD button onto the screen.
2) inch your way closer to the seat, close enough before you fall into the bubble.
3) Then right click "sit down on".
4) wait like 2 seconds while your avatar has a mentle break down and you're seated.
5) operate the HUD from its "health" bar.

I've never done any jumping and this method works good for me.

I guess the more ppl will use it the more easy it gets.
But still....Its a buggy seat.
And for ppl who never flewn or ever took that seat its a hassle.

More options are welcome ofcourse.
I always like to see how other ppl take that seat.

Yes untill it will be fixed, pls read this post before flying.
It will help me and other pilots out a lot.

TYVM for this, I've giveen up once with this and TPed out to allow the ship to get away ...it's really annoying to wait for someone.

MA need to fix it ASAP. Not fair on pilots or passengers leaving it.

But as long as i keep this thread bumped i see no trouble in it at all
and i have experienced lately that not many ppl have trouble with the seat then couple of months ago so we are going good
